Hotel Triton

Union Square, San Francisco

The hotel

As chic as it is bohemian, Triton is one of the trendiest hotels in San Francisco. With a style all of its own, including suites designed by celebrities and art exhibits often hosted by the artists themselves, it’s one of those hotels you’re proud to ‘drop into conversation’ when you get home. The Triton team say it’s like staying with a fashionable friend who lives right by Union Square and Chinatown. With a Bag Butler to pick up your shopping from Union Square’s boutiques, an organic snack bar in your room, in-room spa treatments, and a wine social hour each evening, we think it’s probably better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in December. This was a lovely little hotel in the middle of SF. The area was super safe close to the shopping district. High end stores like Chanel and Louis Vuitton just blocks away. It was centrally located which was a plus for us as we were taking advantage of the holiday sales. The lobby was decorated beautifully. The staff was warm and welcoming. Most importantly everyone was wearing masks following covid protocols throughout the hotel. The room we had is typical of hotels in SF, not too big and not too small. We had a room that is facing Grant Ave. Surprisingly quiet devoid of street noise even in the middle of downtown, they must have very good soundproofing. Lots of restaurants and a Starbucks close by came handy. I also got a great deal pricewise so will definitely be back. Read less

We used to stay at the Triton years ago, and this is the first time we visited since 2016. Love the lobby renovation. The room was nice and clean. The Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The staff helped us with tips about what restaurants opened during this time. We would love to come back again when business and the city open again… Read more

Very good hotel to stay in if your are planning to visit San Francisco and its close by everything such as Chinatown gate and union square. The employees are very helpful and kind. The atmosphere of the hotel is clean and I really enjoy staying in the room. Looking forward to staying in this hotel again.

We stayed at Triton in a king bedroom for couple of nights and we had a great stay. The staff was courteous and friendly, great location close to Union Square, and the hotel is a pet friendly which is a plus.

My friend and I went to San Francisco for the weekend and stayed at Triton. We had a room with two doubles and it was enough for the two of us. Staff was friendly and the location is good. There is a Starbucks right across the hotel literally just made my morning coffee run so much easier !! Would stay again if I go back to SF.
