The receptionist and bellman was so kind, and the security is very safe as they must ask, what is your reservation .I felt super safe and the rooms had a Nespresso machine for coffee or tea. I also loved the shower with a bathtub connected. It made me think of the older victorian homes.

The staff was extremely friendly but the room was so small it’s not meant for heavy set people at all .. the bathroom is EXTREMELY small , But I’m happy with the price and the friendly staff , needed to look more into it I guess .

The hotel is very old but well maintained. Unfortunately smell of "old" is present. Rooms are small but cozy, although the carpeting is old and stainsy. Overall for the location the hotel and the price it is of a great value

Location is everything....and just as well. The staff at The King George were helpful and courteous. We did not eat at the hotel during our 5 night stay so no comment on food. However, if you are not 'small people' :-) avoid The King George. There was literally NO room whatsoever in our room. We lived out of our suitcases for the 5 days as there… Read more

However, if you are not 'small people' :-) avoid The King George. There was literally NO room whatsoever in our room. We lived out of our suitcases for the 5 days as there were 4 or 5 hangers in the smallest wardrobe I have ever seen. We fell over the cases on a few occasions as we had to walk on them to get around the bed. The location is really good. If you are staying 2 nights with hand luggage only, go for it! Read less
