Do not stay here. You will be nickel and dimed from the moment you book. In addition to the room rate, taxes, fees, and surcharges, you will pay a $39.99 nightly amenity fee for 2 bottles of water and 1 plastic bag. You’ll pay $70 a night for parking (if you park through them—we didn’t, thankfully). My partner and I stayed here for a much needed vacation, and found the rooms to be exceedingly small and with the worst views for a 4 star hotel. Location is convenient but be prepared for rats and overflowing trash cans in the streets right outside. What leads me to write this review, however, on top of *everything else*, is that they charged me an extra $15 two days after I checked out (and paid all their ludicrous hidden fees)! I have emailed and left multiple messages about this charge with NO RESPONSE whatsoever. Radio silence. We were traveling on a budget and would NEVER have taken items from their ridiculous mini bar ($19 for a condom). In fact, we brought our own 12 packs of seltzer bc we were, again, on a budget. There are lots of other reviewers who’ve had the same thing happen to them about being charged for things they didn’t take a few days after checkout! The total lack of response is awful customer service for a 4 star establishment in the hospitality industry. Stay anywhere else. It will be money well spent. Read less

Good location right off union square. The hotel itself is just ok. A solid 3 stars but not more than that. Rooms are average size for the city and they are in acceptable shape. Nothing special other than a decent location.

There are some serious problems. How can you pay for a king room and get a queen, then be moved to another queen that is just noisy!!!!? What about the king I actually paid for? And when I ring to change rooms I can change only for tomorrow - the last of the 3 prepaid nights???

The Hotel is really nice, and so is the staff, everyone is really kind and polite. Unfortunatly the breakfast is nothing special and in the room you have the wine, but you lack the bottle opener and glasses, you just have to go to the bar and the bartender opens the bottle and serves you glasses. After all a good experience.

The location was perfect and our room was very spacious and comfortable. Our last night we encountered a very rude bartender as we were on the way back to our room and stopped for a nightcap which ended up not having. The previous three nights we had a lovely and very friendly bartender.
