I was disappointed with this hotel for the second time in a row. The room was recently renovated but apparently the AC system was not part of that. The fan on the AC was very loud and rattled all night long. If I turned otf the room became hot and stuffy and opening a window was not an option as due to the noisse off I-5.

The public areas do not contain any comfortable seating; indeed the lounge looks more like a school dining hall. Our room was acceptable, but if it had been refurbished (it looked as if it had), then there was still no USB ports. As is the case with many US hotels, the costs of connecting with wi fi were in our view outrageous. If we come to the city again (highly likely) this hotel would not be one we would consider Read less

I booked the hotel for pride weekend. When I checked in the Valet was great, helped get my bags to the front desk and made sure I was well taken care of. I had already checked in on the app, so I had my room and key, though I got bumped from the room I had chosen to a different room. The front desk told me this was an upgrade, though it wasn't what I was hoping for since the view of the upgrade was the space needle and I had picked a room with a better view of the parade. Also, I asked for late checkout and was told to call in on my date of checkout, but not told their standards (even for Diamond members, which I am) for late check out are different. The room itself was definitely something to behold, and if my plans were just to have a great Seattle view it would have been perfect. Except there was something weird with the plumbing, as after flushing the toilet a loud thud would occur. And the water pressure in the shower left much to be desired. Also, there was still construction occurring during my stay which made use of the elevators difficult (particularly getting to the floor which had the breakfast buffet). The breakfast was actually the best part, except the wait staff. On the first day she barely noticed me and didn't come check on me until I was almost finished. On the second day she didn't even come see me, only commented on how "self sufficient" I seemed as I was walking out. The food though was awesome! The housekeeping staff were a hit and miss, they didn't really service the room even though I left for a few hours to explore downtown. But really, what made the experience bad was when I called on my checkout date to ask for my late checkout, the attitude of the person I was talking to was terrible. She very much seemed like she could care less about me and that I didn't understand why as a Diamond Member I couldn't get a checkout later than 12 pm. Her tone came off as condescending which was really not appreciated. While I will probably give this hotel a second chance, given this situation was during some construction and the staff are subject to change (and training), it will probably be a while until I do so. My husband and I recently stayed for a long weekend trip. The hotel is undergoing some construction, but it didn't affect our stay. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Hilton has been good to us for years and the Seattle Hilton went to extra efforts to make our stay great. We stayed in one of the newly renovated room which was very comfortable, had an updated large screen tv, blackout blinds, many USB ports, and a nice updated bathroom. The staff was helpful and friendly.
