Hilton Seattle

Seattle, Seattle & Washington State

The hotel

Like any reputable downtown hotel, Hilton Seattle’s best attraction is its setting. In this case, the address puts you within strolling distance of all those travel book favourites, from Pike Place Market to historic Pioneer Square; among some of Seattle’s best dining and shopping venues; and just three blocks from the light rail network. This modern urban pad’s location also means many guestrooms reveal city skyline or Puget Sound views, framed by big bay windows – with rooms starting on floor 14 to give maximum exposure. Central to everything we wanted to do on our vacation. Incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly staff. Room was always well cleaned. Any needs out of the ordinary were met in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again.
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great location, but average room

The hotel location is great. It’s close to all the touristy spots of Seattle and is perfect for a first time visit. However, the hotel room is moderate, and does not justify the price. However, if all you are looking for is location and convenience, this place is perfect. The room price is for the location, not the room :-)

The hotel is in the middle of Seattle, so everything is nearby. The hotel is clean. My main problem is that I could hear traffic noise from the street, even through the night, although that is the case in most of Seattle I guess. Somehow the elevators felt super slow, maybe it was just because of the busy time.

If the renovations are over, then you my rating may not be appropriate. Until then, unless you are getting an amazing deal and are prepared for noise and dust and leaky air conditioners and noise ice machines and no executive lounge or restaurant, I recommend you find someplace else.

Lobby is not on the main floor -- if you are handicapped that could be a real problem -- the check-in process was just okay, not very accommodating with my requests. The rooms are going through renovations, and unfortunately I was put into a very old, dated, worn room. It does not matter at this hotel, if you are Silver, Gold, or Platinum you get what you get here....the bar and restaurant area are in the middle of the hallway and you can see and hear passengers enter/exit the service elevator, etc.! The hotel has poor video connections (TV works sometimes); and poor WIFI quality - overall a bad experience and fortunately I will never stay here again, and post this so that have at least a running chance of what reality is at this hotel -- good luck!
