I stayed at the Hilton Seattle for a couple of nights before my train trip out of the state. This was during the COVID lockdown. After settling in the room, I noticed that it was not cleaned very well, even though the hotel left a notice stating it had been sanitized for my stay. There were hairs and crumbs on the bathroom floor and hairs in the sink. The remote control was disgusting and looked as if it had never been wiped. The coffee maker was dusty and the cabinet door handle to the refrigerator was filthy. There was food crumbs on the floor at the base of the bed. I used many of my own disinfectant wipes to clean the room. I was very disappointed and will most likely never stay at this Hilton again, even though I am a Hilton Honors Member. However, the staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. When I checked out of the hotel, the receptionist did not ask how my stay was, or else I would have explained the issues to them. I have to say this is about the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in a while. Not only was there food left to rot in the mini fridge in the 1st room, there was rotting food in the second room. My reservation was for a king suite with management reception upon arrival and breakfast. Was told not available. When I did arrive no valet but no parking garage available either. When I called the front desk they said it was out of order? How does a garage go out of order? Too afraid to shower. Don't ask. Messaged corporate but doubt I'll ever hear anything. Oh and to top it all off the dude at the front desk wouldn't add my honnors number so I could get any credit for the stay since I had to change the reservation myself and book a full size bed. Just needed to see something different in this crazy anitsocial period we are going through at the this time. Had one night very nice room on the 17th floor view not so great but quiet which was needed. I likes enough to stay another day. So I made another reservation and somethings got messed up on my credit card and they held a deposit etc etc. After making the reservation I went downstairs to renew the card and could not pay for the top and deposit. My bank was having issues. I was speak to Shawn about it. He was actually way more calm than I was and there was a line forming. He gave me the option to go upstairs because he extending my check out time to work with my bank then got the hotel to release the funds. I went back downstairs and they could only do so much with my card. He worked with me as best he could to it so I could stay the extra night. Because of that I now where to go for a quick get a way with great customer service and the rooms are nice! I recomendable paying the extra month to stay on the exec levels (FYI)! Thank you Shaw for being you. This stay is something I really needed! Read less

The manager of this hotel was beyond accommodating and helpful as were the rest of his staff during this work trip. It was during a stressful time for the city, and they worked very hard to make everything painless for guests. Highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Lots of shiny new good Hilton properties in downtown Seattle...but this is still #1. As a former Diamond member, I feel like my countless stays have taught me a thing or two. The staff here is what has knocked it out of the park on each of my 3 stays the past few years. From the awesome GSAs who behave like it is a full service property and not a Hampton on the side of an Arizona freeway to the quality of the menus...place does it right. This time around the associate Shawn knocked it out of the park. Provided good, intelligent convo at check in, discussing local architecture trends. He was pleasantly chatty but wasn't a desk agent who was too chatty and kept you there longer than necessary. A+ on my guest experience at the front desk. He was hospitable/made me genuinely feel welcomed/felt I was in good hands if I needed to call down for anything. RedTrees bar/restaurant has provided me great on site food each stay. Had a smoked salmon breakfast sandwich this time that really wowed me and inspired me to shout out the staff/property on TA. Sandra, the server, provided me a full list of dim sum recommendations for the area. She was warm and genuine. The bar had been set super high by them knocking it out of the park with a previous stay for my gf's birthday a few years ago...and Shawn/Sandra didn't disappoint. Kudos to Shawn, Sandra, and the entire staff of this great property. The Asian american valet attendant downstairs was also welcoming/good small talk while waiting a moment each time for the elevators. Also: how many properties still offer beverages/hors doeuvres at an Executive Lounge? While their remodel took away the amazing view for the lounge...they still offer a perk that really adds to the guest experience. Read less
