Hotel 1000

Seattle, Seattle & Washington State

The hotel

Barely a mackerel’s lob from the waterfront along Elliot Bay, and perfectly placed for the hubbub of Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum and leafy, historic Pioneer Square, sleek, contemporary Hotel 1000 makes a top flight base from which to get the very most out of the Emerald City. Rooms and suites feel spacious and bright with simple, modern detailing, there’s complimentary WiFi for guests, and the hotel’s stylish BOKA Restaurant and Bar is popular with locals as well as guests (always a great sign). So, after a busy day exploring the city, why not order a hand-crafted cocktail and give the hotel’s golf simulator a spin?

Excellent location, near water, restaurants and Amazon. Simple property but gets job done. Part of AMEX Fine Hotels - nice ammenities. Restaurant and bar very strong for hotel. Ice cooler on each floor. Gym is small but modern. Lounge with coffee on ground floor.

This hotel is close to the midway point between Century Link Field and Pike Place Market. You can get to either within a 15 minute walk without being swarmed by other tourists. It's also a short walk to one of my favourite buildings - the Seattle Public Library. My friend loved the soaker tub. She took two baths every day.

Amazing place! Everything was great except a few little details like the door being hat to open because of recently wet paint or television remote not working. There was also a charge for the restaurant that I was removed by front desk. But now I just found a new charge on my credit card I did not approve. I requested a emailed receipt but haven’t… Read more

There was also a charge for the restaurant that I was removed by front desk. But now I just found a new charge on my credit card I did not approve. I requested a emailed receipt but haven’t gotten anything. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again but there seems to be some issues with billing. Hope it can be resolved or I will consider other accommodations in the future. Read less

We were in town with another couple and decided to stay here instead of Alexis across the street as our friends were booked here. My wife and I stayed here one night. Issues for paying almost $400/night. 1. We paid for a King Deluxe City View and upon check in was told they only had two queens available. After some conversation with the front desk manager, they “found” a room and said that I was lucky even though my reservation was confirmed for King. 2. Our City View room had no view of the City. In fact the room was shown on website and was to have an open bathroom with tub viewing into suite. Our bathtub was shoved in the corner of the bathroom floor plan. 3. Street noise was out of control. Through the night. I have stayed at luxury hotels in SF, LA and NYC. Dual pane windows would be expected. 4. No in room amenities that are standard at most hotels. No free water, coffee maker, just $8 FIJI water. Iron was broken and had to be replaced which took 45 mins. 5. Service was nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary for Hilton Garden Inn. 6. All Water (Hotel Bar) has really good drinks and service and was the best part of the hotel experience. 7. Can’t beat the location on 1st Avenue but many comparable hotel in area. We will stay at the Alexis for half the price next time in town. Read less
