Very conveniently located to visit the space needle, is down the street from the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time, and had great rooms. The traffic outside could be loud which made it a little hard for me to sleep, but I’m a very light sleeper.

The Hyatt House is a very relaxing hotel in a great location. Adjacent to the Monorail terminus, across the street from the Museum of Popular Culture, and in the shadows of the newly remodeled Space Needle. Breakfast included!

My wife and I arrived late after traveling to Seattle via Amtrak. Cool tip for the Hyatt House is that you can get there by light rail (short walk from the Amtrak Station or SEATAC Airport) to the Space Needle monorail. The Hyatt House is across the street from the Needle. It was after 9 pm, but we were able to check in and get a meal at the bar thus saving us a trip back out into the cold and wet weather. The room was fine, BUT the late night road noise was disruptive to my sleep. That said, it didn't seem to bother my wife. Key Arena which is just around the corner is being renovated and large trucks roll all night long moving construction materials and debris in both directions. In the morning, I asked about the trucks and was told about the renovation. Without prompting, the front desk clerk whose name is Spring offered to move us to a higher floor. I greatly appreciated this kindness. While speaking further with Spring, she noticed that I had reserved under a military discount and mentioned that she also served in the Army. To this I must say that not only am I impressed with Spring's actions on my behalf, but am also impressed that Hyatt hires Veterans. That means a lot to me (and other Vets). Great stay--it will be greater after Key Arena's renovations are complete. Read less

I cannot say enough about the Hyatt House. The room was amainzing, staff extremly helpfull and the free breakfast was amazing. Not like most hotels with toast, cereal and fruit, this was awesome. Before I even checked out I had already told my husband we were coming back.
