We stayed in this hotel for five nights in September. While the location was good, we quickly ran out of accolades for this place. The biggest issue is that the interior of the building has paper walls, and we could clearly hear people in the adjoining rooms talking, going to the bathroom, packing up to leave at 4am to the airport, etc. That was the least of the noise issues we experienced, the windows are not double paned and the exterior sounds are not even muffled by them. Every car, garbage truck, bum fight, police/EMS activity, for the entire area around the hotel comes into your room all night long. Unless you’re a long time city dweller and able to ignore these sounds you will get awful sleep. Another issue we had was the room cleaning. They didn’t clean our room until at least 5pm, and we had placed a complaint on the last day asking for the room to be cleaned since it appeared that they were simply not going to get to us. In response they offered to comp us a meal at the hotel restaurant. Despite other better dining options, this was the last night there and we opted to eat at the restaurant. But when the bill came they actually comp’d only the main course, and said that this is what they promised. It’s really not hard pleasing us, but service this poor could have been simply fixed by ensuring the room was cleaned and not making promises about a meal that turned out to be wrong. Between the very poor customer service and endless noise I honestly can’t recommend this place whatsoever. There are many options around the area and the next time we go to Seattle we certainly won’t give them our business. Read less

But... I would not stay here if I had a vehicle I cared about the valet driving. There is no self parking or other option at this hotel. But... I would not plan to have a late night dinner here because they close the restaurant early. I would not plan to have a late night dinner here because they close the restaurant early. I had called the front desk a half hour before arrival and was told the kitchen would be open and serving dinner until 10pm, it wasn’t. Overall this was a very good location and provided a nice central location for seeing downtown Seattle by four or using one of the popular ride share companies. Read less

Had a three-night visit. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant menu is limited. Location is great. Lots of minor problems with heating/cooling system, room lighting, bathroom attention to detail. We would stay there again.

Just had one night in Seattle, so the location was very important to us. We came with our car, had a valet parking service and everything went very smooth and fine! Very friendly staff, nice, clean rooms - the stay was perfect!

My wife and I stay in the city 3 or 4 times a year and over the years we have had many favorites that have come and gone for us, Edgewater, Alexis, Sorento, Fairmont, and The Inn at the Market. Last time we tried the new Thompson which we liked but a little sterile feeling so we thought we would try the Palihotel this trip. The location is perfect, we like to have dinner at Matt's and breakfast at the Crumpet shop both are right across the street. Palihotel is very quirky and interesting. The staff were perfectly helpful without seeming to try too hard. We had an excellent lunch at the Hart and the Hunter in the lobby. We both agreed that this will be our go to in the city from now on! I Highly recommend staying here. We really like the in room iPad loaded with information, restaurant guides, etc. The bed was fantastic and the room was large and had a fun interesting layout. We loved the retro refrigerator and coffee station. The noise is typical of the city which doesn't bother us at all if I stay in Seattle and don't hear garbage pickup and homeless or drunks yelling at each other in the middle of the night I feel like I am at home. Pali furnishes all guests with ear plugs which are in the bathroom and has black out shades so if you actually want a dark quit night you can get it here for sure. Read less
