The hotel

This new hotel on the block is steeped full of history, originally the Colonnade Hotel in 1895 and registered on the National Register of Historic Places, it reopened late '18 and reimagined in Palihotel's signature eclectic style. Outside it's in the perfect location, steps away from Pike Place Market, a haven for foodies and people watchers alike. Although you don't have to step out for food, The Hart and The Hunter have southern inspired food with local ingredients. On the inside it's brimming with personality, paying homage to the Pacific Northwest with a waterfront twist. The lobby is welcoming like a magazine worthy living room with a cosy fireplace and a lounge bar. Numerous room configurations allow for most combinations of travellers, there’s even a bunk bed option for kids or to release your inner child.

A breath of fresh air in the midst of the gargantuan towers in Seattle. This place has a lounging room with several books to read, many places to sit and personal bathrooms right around the corner. Minimalistic, yet, sophisticated hotel rooms that fit your needs.

1. Dirty bedsheet (seems like they didnt change sheets from previous occupant) with stain as shown in the pic. This is a major turn off 2. Electric kettle are nice to look at but dirty on the inside, we dare not use it 3. Again, shower knobs and faucet from the sink are into the theme but functionality-wise, need to balance between the hot and the cold water which takes some time (sink faucets) 4. We prebooked the room weeks before we arrive. We arrived (from cruise) at 930am and left our luggages (total of 6 luggages in our room plus 1box package my sister sent me). They did put a tag on each bag with my last name and number (1 out of 6 etc). We went out for a stroll and lunch. We went back at the hotel by 1pm and the rooms arent ready yet (despite all guests ae required to check out by 11am) since their housekeeping are still cleaning other rooms. We were hoping that since we arrived early, our room will be prioritized for cleaning. Once we got our room, our bags were already there. Great. BUT, despite putting in the tag with number designated for each bag, 1 bag was left in their storage room and the package. 5. Shampoos/shower baths/conditioner were not replaced/refilled until the small container are really empty 6. For some reason the lights in our room would suddenly dim and turn off. This is energy saving yes we get that but its a hassle to always get up from the bed to turn the lights on again Read less

I reserved this room through a 3rd party website. Apparently details get lost in the translation. For a better experience, call the hotel directly to make sure they can meet your needs. You won’t be disappointed by the location of this hotel.

A very cute hotel, in a great location, with very friendly and courteous staff. Ideal for those of us that don't like cookie-cutter hotels. Make sure that you spend a little time in the ground-floor reading room!

This hotel is in an amazing location as a tourist at just a block away from the market. Target is also a block away which is a nice bonus. The rooms are VERY small so be forewarned if you’re traveling with more than one person and multiple pieces of luggage. I was alone and only had a carry on and it felt a bit claustrophobic. The decor is super… Read more
