We were looking for a place to stay and found Pan Pacific. We were extremely happy with every aspect of the room, location, staff and food. We spent 4 nights and have to say that I have never slept better. The bed, sheets and pillows were supper comfy and I have to admit that I missed them when I got home! lol

My husband and I stayed at the Pan Pacific during our first trip to Seattle. After reading countless reviews on hotels, I chose for us to stay here and could not be happier with my decision. Upon arrival, you’re greeted with a warm inviting lobby. There is a fireplace and comfortable lounge area as well as a restaurant. Checking in went smoothly, and we were able to get into our room despite being a few hours early. They will hold onto your luggage if they can’t check you in earlier so you can roam hands free. Our room had a nice view overlooking downtown and the Space Needle. Everything was clean, and there was complimentary water should you not want anything from the mini fridge. I looked forward to returning back to our room at the end of each day because of how clean and calming it was. Housekeeping does a great job refreshing the space when you’re out and getting it ready for when you return. The location is the best part. You’re only a 15-20 minute walk to Pike Place Market, and the distance is even shorter if you want to go visit the Space Needle & Chihuly Glass Garden. The commute from the market back to the hotel is perfect to walk off all of the food you will indulge in. Pan Pacific also offers complimentary rides to places within a 2 mile radius of the hotel, so we would use it as a shortcut sometimes. The airport is a twenty minute drive away. Whole Foods is literally down the stairs. Random businesses like FedEx, a yoga studio, and poke restaurant are all next door. The team is hospitable and does their best to ensure your experience will be a memorable one. Thank you for helping us make our first trip to Seattle so successful. We look forward to staying at this property again. Read less

Overall, our experience here was mostly unsatisfactory. Nothing about the service or experience felt luxurious. First, I was very disappointed that I wasn’t notified of the construction on the sauna and fitness facilities during my booking. It was also disappointing that the hotel didn’t make arrangements to offer those services nearby. The sauna was a main factor in my selection of Pan Pacific. Although the room was comfortable, it too, disappointed. The bath robes were not soft (at all) as advertised. Also, our toilet seemed to only partially flush solid waste. On arrival, it appeared that the toilet hadn’t been fully flushed. When our room was cleaned, they didn’t provide new coffee and there were NO teas offered. In the lobby, there was water available with small glasses but no options to purchase water for sightseeing. Also, no coffee or tea offered in the lobby. Even budget hotels offer guests that! At check out, I asked that the service fee be removed from our bill since most of the “services” warranting a fee were out of order OR were simpler were not offered/available. The woman checking us out agreed to remove the fee BUT didn’t- It is reflected on my final bill. I give this a 2 rating because the hotel appeared clean, bed was firm, room was generally comfortable, and we enjoyed our breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Read less

Excellent location, fantastic rooms and competent, personable staff who bend over backwards to keep you happy. It is located next door to a Whole Foods, there are coffee shops everywhere, attractions and restaurants within walking distance plus a lobby eatery. Local transportation is provided though it is first come, first serve.
