Check was quick and room was clean and pet friendly. The rate was very good. We were on our way back to Canada so was happy to se they did not raise the rates considering. I have stayed here before and I think they have done some room improvements. Well done!

We were returning from our winter digs in California because of the Caronavirus scare and needed a room to await our ferry ride to Victoria the next day. Great to see the hotel sprucing up. Friendly staff and an awesome location. We will be back to stay longer and enjoy Port Angeles and the Olympic Peninsula. It’s a great area with lots to do and see and eat 😊

We always find friendly and knowledgeable staff, comfortable and well-equipped rooms, good food (Crabhouse), and outstanding views. The location is perfectly located right on the beach and close to shopping, food, bars, and parks. No question that we will choose Red Lion over any other hotel/motel option in Port Angeles in the future. Read less

The hotel is handy to the ferry and we booked a room with a view of the ocean. It is unfortunate that the room smelled of stale smoke, however, I do think I am particularly sensitive. The breakfast was good and the food at the crab house was good and the service was really good.
