Ask for a water view room. Always good to watch the activity through the straight. Ferries, Freight ships, and pleasure boats. Fantastic view. Also close to the ferry docks so you can walk out and climb the observation tower.

Lovely hotel, very nice staff, dog friendly with a great dog walking area right out your back door. We even had a room that faced the parking and it was nice - would have preferred one that faced the water - but I did not ask for it and it may have all been booked. I just needed dog friendly and was very happy with our stay. Location is… Read more

By the time we realized the room smelled moldy and sour, it was bed time and we were tired from our road trip. Whatever was in that room kicked off an allergy attack the next day. Absolutely not what I expected from Red Lion.

Things you may want to consider: there were 4 sleeping positions (2 queen beds) with only one night table to accommodate the potential number of guests. The room is very dark at night. No… Read more

Good location for ferry travellers, clean comfortable room, great front desk staff. A little tired and could use some new decor. Short flights of stairs between wings so beware if you can't lift your suitcases. Good restaurant and lounge on site.
