I was expecting this property to be average, based on the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by superior service and a well appointed and comfortable room on a high floor. My only complaint is that the price for overnight parking was outrageous!

Loved this trendy hotel. Great room and service. Location was convenient. Room was very clean. Had a refrigerator and wine pull!! Within walking distance to Pikes Market, restaurants and shopping. Will stay here again!

W Seattle Hotel is clean and nice place to stay. I liked the accommodation as well as the location. This place is ideal for both business and pleasure. It is close to venues such as The Space Needle, Chohully and The Sphere as well as Pike's Place.

I had not stayed at a W in a few years and I was so happy we decided to spend our weekend at the W in Seattle. First off when we arrived the line to check in was very long and the lovely woman, Emma who was working the front desk, was so calm and caring. She did not rush us and even recommend we use our Marriott points for an upgrade. We did not know that Marriott was now affiliated with the W chain and that was a great tip she gave us. We were able to upgrade us to a room with a fantastic view. The service was exemplary the entire stay. The rooms have Nespresso machines which is what we have at home and we were so happy to walk up and not have to run and get coffee outside the hotel! They even brought us extra pods at our request. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Read less

There were so many things good about this property that I cannot really give it a low rating, but then there were so many things which prevented a high score. The rooms are well appointed and modern. Facilities are clean and maintained extremely well. Upon checking in I was told I received an upgrade as a TiElite, but it was exactly what I had reserved. No club level, so the "breakfast" buffet downstairs was worse than a Hampton - only option were pastries, scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, fruit (sort of), oatmeal, and potatoes - that was it. No egg station, salmon (it is Seattle for God's sake), or any other offerings. Tea selections did not include mint, carafes used for hot water smelled of coffee, and a couple other issues with ordered food off the menu. Service was good though. Opted for the "Green" option, but then had to schedule a cleaning after 3 days, as one was not automatically set. Valet situation was a mess on arrival - chaos of cars exiting and no room for arrivals. The process must be addressed during busy times. Then there was the price for the valet. $68 a night is extremely high for hotel guests. I do not even pay that in NYC. So while the location was good (Renaissance is a stones throw and $57/night and has a club level) and rooms nice, I just do not see a reason to give this property more than an average rating.
