We love the Freestone Inn Cabins! We were pleasantly surprised to find the studio cabin spacious, clean and cozy with a large fireplace and small kitchen area. The only thing I'd say is the bed is a bit small compared to what we're used to but it was comfortable just the same. It was a perfect place to relax as it was so quiet and peaceful. A… Read more

A wonderful retreat away from our normal city life. We also had two dogs in the cabin and the Freestone provides towels for their wet paws and we really appreciated that. The cabin was reasonably priced, clean, spacious and relaxing. We will definitely be back! Thank you Freestone! Read less

Ten stars for integrity of everyone at Freestone. My daughters wedding was planned fall 2019 for Memorial Day. Flowers, band, photographer, food all planned and mostly ready to go by late February. Then the pandemic hit and everyone was in limbo. When we finally called the wedding off we had to notify Freestone. As the father who has rented the whole place out for the weekend I wondered what might happen next. This is where the class of the operation shined through. Without hesitation they refunded and wished us all the very best. Good job and I hope this attitude is rewarded. Thank you. Read less

Our room looked out over a small pond with a couple of fountains in it and there was a small trail around it. The property was kept up perfectly. We dined both nights on property. The first night at the pizza restaurant and our last night in the dining room of the Inn. Both were good and the wait staff was terrific. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Read less

My niece was married at the Freestone Inn in late January. The venue could not have been more accommodating and beautiful. The staff was so very friendly and down to earth and easy to work with, really very nice people that made sure we had everything we needed. We lucked out with the weather, making our way there from Western Washington. They are only about 30 minutes from Winthrop, at most. We had a wonderful time, wonderful food and met just plain wonderful people which includes all staff.. I highly recommend for a winter wedding venue if one is seeking snow and mountains. My husband and I did not stay there, at the Inn itself, as rooms were above our budget but we stayed in Winthrop and the drive to the venue, Freestone Inn, was very timely and manageable. We all really felt so at home there and my Niece's wedding was just plain lovely and went off without a hitch. Thank you and Kudos to all the staff at the Freestone Inn for being so accommodating and helping to assure that all was in order. My husband and I hope to come back to visit during the summer. Cheers to you all and Thanks for a wonderful time. Read less

I called on a Thursday to inquire if they ever make exceptions for the 2 night minimum on weekends. I called on a Thursday to inquire if they ever make exceptions for the 2 night minimum on weekends. The front desk agent was super friendly and explained that it depends on a few factors, but indeed they were able to get me in for on night the next night. When I balked at the price ($241) she put me on hold and came back with a lower price since it's the end of the high season. So awesome! I have stayed at the Freestone before - the last time was in a cabin since I had my canine companion. The cabin was great - but the room (#9) I got at the inn this time was amazing! It's spacious with high ceilings, great bathroom, super comfy bed, deck with adirondack chairs, and a fireplace. I was a little bummed the restaurant was closed for a private event, but the pizza at Jack's Hut was surprisingly good. The hot tub is great, customer service superb, and the complimentary breakfast is excellent (make your own waffle station ftw!). The Freestone is a warm and inviting respite - a perfect place to treat yourself after a long day of adventuring in the North Cascades. Read less
