I've driven past this place thousands of times; it's been a landmark since I was a teenager. My wife and I recently were attending an event and when I looked for hotels nearby, this was the closest. I paid a few extra dollars for a harbor view room and the view breathtaking. Check in was spot on. We walked in, I handed my driver's license to the lady at the counter and told her I had a reservation. She genuinely thanked me for choosing this hotel, gave me a choice of rooms, and within a minute handed us our room cards. She asked if we preferred a room closer to the ground or higher up, we chose higher up and were given a room on the 14th floor, the top floor of rooms, just beneath the rooftop restaurant. While riding up in the elevator I wondered if that was a mistake because of noise from the restaurant and lounge. Our room was silent throughout our stay. The room was very clean, recently updated, had plenty of outlets and usb chargers built into every piece of furniture. The view was spectacular when we arrived and was even more impressive at night. The food and service in the restaurant was great. It wasn't listed but they have 2 chargers in the parking lot for electric cars (we drive one, hadn't planned on being able to charge, but plugged in, were connected and were fully charged by morning) It was a great stay and we agreed to visit every year. We had a newly refurbished king suite on the 14th floor and it was really nice. Very large room with a super comfortable bed (although the pillows need some work) pull out sofa, small kitchen area (counter, sink, fridge, one cup coffee maker *no microwave*). Clean bathroom with nice toiletries. Perfect for our family of 4. The only 2 things of note really are there were only 3 towels in the bathroom for a room that slept 4, which we found odd and, we did not like the lack of safe in the room. They have a freestanding wardrobe which, while beautiful and functional does not allow for the traditional closet safe. That may not be something everyone needs but we prefer to have it and felt it worth mentioning. We would stay here again for sure Read less

This hotel’s draw is undoubtedly the amazing view. However, our balcony was sealed permanently shut (understandable) but the window was so filthy that you could hardly see out it. Additionally, we tried twice to visit the restaurant. The first time it closed early. The second time we arrived at 10:30 when they closed for an hour between breakfast and lunch and the host was incredibly rude. It’s an affordable and clean place to stay, but if you come during the off season it’s priced similarly to DT accommodations. I would recommend staying elsewhere and just coming for an early dinner (be sure to call to ensure they’re open). Read less

5 night stay for Christmas Holidays that was very disappointing...bathroom not cleaned upon our check-in, 2 days of no housekeeping service, roach in the room and in the lobby in the microwave oven closet, no coffee pod refills, soiled linen, torn shower curtain and very limited bathroom paper products.

Room was very small and could have been cleaner but bed was very comfortable. We did not venture upstairs to the restaurant so might have missed the highlight of the hotel. Staff was courteous. Not really convenient to downtown.
