Location was wondering. The fried chicken sandwich is delicious - take it from someone who gives up fried chicken for lent. The beer and beverage choices plentiful. Great staff who were all very accommodating. I was a nursing mother on a work trip away from my child, and they were very agreeable to help me check in early so I could pump, and they… Read more

Great staff who were all very accommodating. I was a nursing mother on a work trip away from my child, and they were very agreeable to help me check in early so I could pump, and they froze my milk for me as well. Would 100% stay here again and hope that business brings me back to Austin to be able to enjoy this comfortable and lively hotel. Read less

Upon our arrival we checked out the pool which we can view directly from our room where's a big pool party going on that they allow non-hotel guests to attend. The pool is crowded and filthy with what I'm sure is spilled booze and other unsanitary fluids. My teenage niece is playing with my daughter when she points out a couple getting really intimate in the pool - like 3rd base to a home run right in front of other people in the pool. At no point is there hotel staff in the pool area looking for indecent behavior. When I asked the hotel front desk staff how often they clean the pool the young lady said daily, but this morning the pool looks as filthy as it did yesterday. We've paid good money to stay here and at this point I would not recommend to anyone to stay here. Read less

We were so pleased to stay at the Line. We were treated better by the staff and management then in any other hotel we have ever stayed. I would give a 10 if we could because we were made so comfortable and welcomed by everyone. I can assure everyone if I stay in Austin again it will be most certainly at this establishment. I highly recommend this… Read more

We were looking to stay closer to 6th street so we wouldn’t have to drive back to the hotel but everything is within walking distance. Felt safer staying a few blocks away plus it was very quiet which turned out to be very relaxing. I also prefer a city view but if you’re staying here the lake view is definitely worth it! The room was exceptionally clean, few stains in the carpet but was not an issue. No complementary water and keurig coffee machine is upon request. I really enjoyed the simple design in the room and in this case less was more. Read less

I’d booked a lakeside suite, no complaints on the room itself, large, great design, bathroom and shower fab, bed super comfy & bedlinen lovely. The reason for a 4 & not a 5 was paying for a view but my view was a flat roof and the P6 bar which was really disappointing. So don’t accept room 755! The reason for a 4 & not a 5 was paying for a view but my view was a flat roof and the P6 bar which was really disappointing. So don’t accept room 755! Other than that great coffee bar downstairs, pool very nice but as we were there on a Sunday the ‘pool party’ kicked off at 3pm. This is open to the public so got packed and VERY loud! I’m just a bit too old for the thumping tunes! Best thing? The pink pony cocktail! Addictive! Really nice hotel though, would return. Read less
