Let me start off by saying the staff here are extremely friendly, nothing but nice things to say about each and every one of them that we interacted with. Of special note was Andrew at the Concierge desk who gave an excellent historical tour and gave us a better appreciation of the history, charm, and character of the hotel. Unfortunately, the rooms are not what I have come to expect from a higher end Marriott property. While vacationing with my wife and infant daughter, I used Suite Night Awards and was upgraded to an "Executive Suite, 2 King." We had high expectations for the room that were left unmet. While the room is nicely decorated, we'd consider it a fairly standard hotel room with a second king size bed and a loveseat tucked into the corner. Other Marriott properties I've stayed at offer what I would consider a true suite, which has a separate sitting room distinct from the bedroom as well as a second TV. This would've been much appreciated when traveling with our infant who has an earlier bedtime than my wife and I. As long as you temper your expectations of a "suite" the hotel is a great option. Lovely hotel, stayed two nights in September as I went to Dallas to see the Yankees play against the Rangers, half an hour, $20 Uber ride from the stadium in Arlington (in case anyone is interested in doing the same) Service was good, breakfast is pricey and I was not impressed, looks like they used fake eggs, omelette was a horror. My husband and I stayed here for a wedding weekend and loved it. The service was fantastic and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Chris the bellman and Laura at the front desk were particularly great. Looking forward to a future stay.

Dallas was celebrating it's first annual Dia de Los Muertos Parade and festival over the weekend so my husband, son and I decided to make it a weekend getaway by staying overnight at The Adolphus. After the parade through downtown and the festival at City Hall, we checked in and were greeted by the wonderful front desk staff. Andrew the concierge was absolutely outstanding and welcomed us with champagne and chocolates for our son. He gave us a quick tour, filled us in with a little history about the hotel and showed us up to our room. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous with such a cool rich history. The room was fantastic and the beds were so comfortable none of us wanted to dare get out of them the next morning. We had such a wonderful time and was made even more wonderful by Andrew and the rest of the Adolphus staff. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back! Read less
