Great location, room was nice, breakfast was bland. Front desk seemed understaffed considering they had to check in, and man the bar and menu service. We were here on st Patrick day weekend and it was very busy in the mornings.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, nice facilities, great location. Right in the center of 'cowboy USA', if you like that sort of thing. There was a bit of construction front and rear that made access a tiny bit difficult, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. My third stay at the Stockyards Hyatt was disappointing. When it first opened it was exceptional. This time the frayed carpet, bathroom door that wouldn’t close, and noisy guests after 10 pm made it a mediocre stay. However, the staff was very helpful and considerate.

A recent stay at the Hyatt Place Fort Worth/Historic Stockyards was quite enjoyable. Staff at check-in was great. The room was comfortable and clean. The view was perfect for us since we came for the Stockyard experience. The only thing that keeps this review from five stars is breakfast. Since you pay extra for breakfast I expected something good, not exceptional, just good. The eggs were like powder and the pork sausage was tolerable. The oatmeal was like concrete. The entire buffet consisted of 4 cereal choices, 3 juice choices, sticky bun in a pan, pork sausage, scrambled eggs (although I'm not convinced they were real eggs), toaster with four bread choices, fruit, and oatmeal with plenty of toppings. The fruit was good. The rest varied from okay to bad. I've had a much better "free" hotel breakfast before. So my recommendation is to eat breakfast somewhere else. Overall, I loved the hotel. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. Otherwise, the stay was perfect. Read less

This hotel is centrally located in the heart of the US nationally recognized Ft. Worth Historic Stockyards District. It is surrounded by great places to eat, places to shop, and places to buy western memorabilia and clothing. We really enjoyed our stay.
