Transporting you into Texan life in more ways than one, Omni Fort Worth delivers Texas-on-a-plate in its location, styling, and attitude – and, of course, its restaurants. Just moments from Sundance Square, this downtown destination hotel lets you experience Fort Worth’s attractions with ease. And they’ve embellished each space with a reminder of your Texas backdrop – from the saddle blanket throws in its upscale guestrooms to the ‘ranch-meets-refined resort’ styling (and equally ‘local’ menu choices) of its dining venues. The Texan tradition of luxury isn’t forgotten either. There’s Mokara Spa for starters, with its treatments reflecting the state’s love of fine living. As with all good hotels, it’s accompanied by a fitness centre, but they’ve also added a super-stylish rooftop pool space, adorned with loungers, seasonal pool bar, and hot tub.

Nice and Convenient Downtown Location

We love this OMNI for its convenience and the quality of the property. It is a mere five minute walk from the TRE station, so anytime we have an overnight stay from Dallas to FW, we take the train and stay at the Omni. It's a fun treat and very convenient to all the fun stuff in FW.

This is a very lovely property. The lobby is beautiful, very grand yet welcoming. The decor is upscale and there are several restaurants located here. There is an ample fitness center and the spa appeared to be one of a very high caliber. I did not use the facilities, but they appeared this way to me. Unfortunately, we were in the area for a rehearsal dinner and wedding so there was little opportunity to partake in all the hotel has to offer. My husband did have several chances to hang out and drink, eat and play billiards in the hotel bar/restaurant. Darkness is a theme all over the hotel as he mentioned it even being too dark while playing pool.
Parking is available for a daily fee and is valet in nature. The staff at the lobby entrance open doors generally upon your entry.
An annoying feature, but necessary in this day and age, is the necessity to utilize one's room key to access the elevator. It was a little glitchy, so at times, several patrons needed to try his or her key to get the elevator moving.
My husband and I shared a suite as the door between the bedroom and living area protects me from excessive snoring. My favorite amenity when staying in a suite is when a half bathroom is provided in addition to the full bathroom. This suite provides this space. The living area contains a kitchenette with a mini-refrigerator and a coffee maker. A dinette is also in the room.
The major drawbacks of this suite follow. Firstly, aside from the half bathroom, the rooms are all poorly lit. It is very dark. This room surely lacks proper lighting. Fortunately, the half bathroom is well lit and contained a magnifying makeup mirror so I had a room in which to get ready after showering in the main bathroom.
The main bathroom is very large. There is an enormous tub if that is your thing. It is not mine. The shower is poorly located, right upon entering the bathroom. The door to the bathroom is right there and opens in, so it is awkward walking in and out of the shower and setting the water prior to entering as the shower door opens out as well. The shower door and bath entrance door are too close. The shower knob in our shower was very difficult to turn. The water leaked when turned off without turning the knob to this uncomfortably tight position. I needed my husband to loosen it for me. I could not even get the shower to stop leaking as it required that much force to shut it all the way off. One of the sinks on the double vanity did not drain properly so it filled up with water.
Doors in this suite is a problem all around. When entering the bedroom, the door opens in and right behind the door is the double door closet with doors that open outwardly. One needs to close the room door fully in order to access the closet. It is very awkward. The safe is located in the closet as well.
Our safe broke upon first use with our items inside. This was very scary, but the staff worked on it and got it to function normally. After some investigation and a call for back up, it ended up merely requiring a battery change. Whew! Again, all the doors provided awkward access to the safe.
Overall, the furnishings are very nice but are all very dark and very heavy. It has a very traditional theme. There was a great deal of dresser drawer space, way more than we needed for the weekend we stayed.
I was told a microwave is available for use on alternate floors near the ice maker but did not check it out. It would have been appreciated if more complimentary water bottles were supplied, but two did come with the room each day. Luckily, CVS is not far away.
The staff is all lovely!! Each one is very friendly and very helpful and professional. I guess there is something to the notion of southern hospitality. The service was swift and courteous. The in-room dining service was quick and efficient too. Any request for an item was brought to the room quickly.
Overall, I recommend this hotel if you are in the area. As I mentioned, there are a few imperfections, but the pros far exceed any potential pitfalls. Although I did not research fully, it seems to be the nicest hotel in Fort Worth.

Loved, loved, loved our stay at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. Everything was so clean and well kept. People so kind and went out of there way to make sure our stay was AMAZING!!!! Wonderful food---the best Bob's Steak and Chops right in side the hotel. I would give this hotel a 5 star rating!! Excellent!!!

I booked online but prior to booking, I called to verify that I would receive exactly what the picture provided. The lady who answered the phone said, ”yes!” So I booked! I entered into my room and my feelings was so hurt, not to mention this was my birthday weekend so I was expecting everything to go as smooth a possible. The room I booked was big and it looked as if it was another open space and the bathroom was spacious with a glass shower. My room was small with a regular tub and shower curtain. Which due to my plans that was not going to work, so I immediately went back down stairs. The lady/manger argued with me but pulling up the website showing her the pictures it was obvious that I didn’t get that room, which came to be false advertisement. She told me she would authorize a refund. At that time I still needed a room but I was not willing to pay for something and get something totally opposite. So since she authorized a refund I went online to Hotwire and booked a room. Guess what, it sent me right back to the Omni. Which was fine, because I didn’t pay the amount I originally paid. When she authorized a refund I went and got my car and pulled over onto the side of the building to book for Hotwire. So when I made the loop and pulled back into the valet area, he said, ”you’re back,” which means you knew I was just there. He gave me another ticket and I woke up to 2 different valet charges. I talked to the valet personnel and told them the situation and how I only stayed 1 night and she called her manger and I was told it would be only one charge and they’ll send me an email of the new receipt. Well I’m watching my card statements and the amounts are no longer pending, it shows Hotwire amount, the amount I originally paid for the booking and 2 valet charges. Everything they said they would do, did not happen! My first time staying at a hotel that I have ALWAYS wanted to stay at, so staying for my birthday would be perfect, right?! Wrong, the worst experience I have ever received! I’m so disappointed on so many levels!

Went to Ft. Worth for a concert. Looked at the hotels in downtown and decided on the Omni. It was great! We stayed on the 11th floor. Window view of down town was great. All the staff we spoke to were extremely friendly and helpful! Room we very clean and comfortable. If we are close we will definitely stay there again.
