We enjoyed our stay. Nice style and friendly staff. You should pay for valet separately or you can park for less in the parking across the street. Negatives: Only one bottled water in a room for two when we arrived thirsty and no utensils. The blankets were not that warm.

The best part of the hotel is the location and from the outside the hotel seems very high end. Unfortunately that's where it ends. The valet is average, fast to get your car but not very attentive or courteous. Not worth the $43 plus tax. The room was on the riverside and had a balcony so the view is great but for this being a 4 star hotel the… Read more

The valet is average, fast to get your car but not very attentive or courteous. Not worth the $43 plus tax. The room was on the riverside and had a balcony so the view is great but for this being a 4 star hotel the room was basic. There was no robes and the rest room was like a motel rest room. They have done away with any and all room service, not sure if it was because of covid but they did away with it completely. For the money I would have stayed somewhere else. Read less

From the time we pulled our car in, the the time we loaded up to leave, the staff at this location went above and beyond. Hospitality is a wonderful industry when done right. From the time we pulled our car in, the the time we loaded up to leave, the staff at this location went above and beyond. Hospitality is a wonderful industry when done right. It brings people together to enjoy and experience a comfortable time away from home. I never opened a door for myself because someone was always there to grab it. The staff walking the grounds was always smiling (eye crinkling over a mask these days goes a long way) and making sure we had everything we needed. The food and staff at Zocca was also delicious and served in a timely manner. You can always get an elevator! I hate when the elevators take forever at hotels. We were on the 9th floor but I felt like we got to and from our room with ease. We were here for a volleyball tournament, it was pretty busy, but still felt clean and like the staff was prepared and capable of handling many guests needs. We even had a bachelor party in the room next door wake us up at 3am and the security and concierge went above and beyond to rectify the unfortunate situation. This group truly do the Marriott name well. Huge kudos to all of them and their management staff for running so well. Read less

This is a very nice Westin. However no robe was provided in the room so that is why I'm not giving my review 5 stars. I was upgraded to a suite bc of my titanium status, that was a plus. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a good night sleep, very quiet and the bed is very comfortable.

While I understand the challenges for hotels during Covid our stay here was lackluster. Minimal interaction from staff- calling out a greeting doesn't violate social distancing. No beverages available for purchase in the hotel at all. You have to go to the CVS 2 blocks away. The restaurant is open part time, no cash accepted, and the staff there… Read more
While I understand the challenges for hotels during Covid our stay here was lackluster. Minimal interaction from staff- calling out a greeting doesn't violate social distancing. No beverages available for purchase in the hotel at all. You have to go to the CVS 2 blocks away. The restaurant is open part time, no cash accepted, and the staff there were kind of rude when my daughter stopped for coffee. The room was clean and while we were on the Riverwalk it's not really central to any attractions. We were placed on the 11th floor so the view was the electrical and air conditioning maintenance area of neighboring buildings. Not a place I would stay again in San Antonio. Read less
