I highly recommend the swimming pool, which is long and deep enough for a good workout of lap swimming. I highly recommend the swimming pool, which is long and deep enough for a good workout of lap swimming. The opening hours are also very generous: from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. And there's a great whirlpool nearby. Helping to make my stay more pleasant were Scott, who checked me in and was always a great source of information; Jackson, who went out of his way to help me with printing some documents; and Zack, who went even more out of his way to help me recycle the cardboard from some 30 box lunches by taking them to the recycling bins at the loading dock, My one complaint is the near-total absence of recycling containers inside the hotel. I could find only two: one on the first floor and one on the second floor. When my conference held a reception, almost all of the aluminum cans went into the trash because you had to make an effort to find a recycling container. By comparison, the recycling containers at the Hyatt Regency across the street and at the Marriott down the street are much more abundant and conspicuous. Read less

The room was clean and the bed quite comfortable. Great selection of TV channels. Great location in downtown Salt Lake City. The restaurant is good but expensive. The hotel reception were quite good at handling a problem I had with printing out a boarding pass.

Super hotel and an awesome. They texted me when I got to my room and have texted checking in on me. I asked for a bathrobe and they sent it up Stat! The room and bed were also super, highly recommended for business or leisure travelers. Also a good bar and wine selection.

It's been a while sense I stayed at a dedicated Hilton Hotel. It was fine; nothing to write home about. The reason I stayed here is that I am a Gold member, and my roommate and I were able to utilize the $15/per day to eat and buy items in the mini store. The location was nice, just a block from the convention center. I had a tall truck, and parking across the street in the city parking lot was convenient and just $25 / per 24 hour period, with in-out privileges. I didn't like that the Starbucks inside the hotel no longer took cash; a bit of a pain. Read less
