We spent 5 days here to celebrate our daughter's upcoming birthday and had such a wonderful time. The staff was amazing and made sure that our stay was exactly what we planned if not better. Upon arrival we were greeted with 2 wonderful and friendly staff members who helped us get situated in our room quickly so that we can enjoy our first day there without waisting any time. My husband and daughter did 3 days of skiing after that in which they were able to explore the mountains and trails for my 10 year old daughter's first time but not without help. The staff took the time to help them customize their experience and gear it towards trails that would leave her wanting more improved her skills and confidence to hit new slopes. Edward White in particular we have to thank for that. We also slept in a cozy room overlooking the beautiful views and I was able to watch my husband and daughter ski down in the warmth of the walls around me. In a room so comfy that I was able to relax, read, unwind, watch my family and appreciate the view. Much thanks to Dani Pena she made this all possible for me who doesn't ski nor like the cold weather. Beverlee Gala helped us check out easily, advised us when planning our dinners and making sure that our accommodations were in order at all times. Those that were working in Valet tried thier best to assist us in reaching our destinatioms and excursions on time. Eddie in particular and others that were called to drive us made us feel comfortable answered any questions we had about our destinations or Utah in general and also helped us appreciate all that we saw on the way. Thank you for all that you have done to make this birthday getaway for our daughter so special. We will definitely be back! 😊 Read less

We stayed at the Grand Summit Hotel for a week. The rooms are excellent, comfortable. The staff is amazing. The Redtail Grill was so good we went every night for dinner. Breakfast at The Cabin was fabulous. The ski lift is right out the door. What a great week. Can’t wait to go back.

Where to start? We dont even consider other spots since staying here stellar service all around from the valets, the desk, and the restaurants. The hotel is immaculate and walking out the door to the orange bubble chair makes is so easy to ski in and out. Rooms are spacious and have all amenities. 5 star all the way!

Grand Summit is great. Try to get a view of the mountain, some other views are not that great. Great hiking (Ive been there in the winter also and that was fantastic skiiing. During September the weather is very changeable so bring clothes form warm and cold weather. Good and easy proximity to Park City and other hiking areas.
