Gorgeous resort - spectacular views. My husband and I were looking forward to a little getaway and break from the kids. We got there an hour early and were reminded check in wasn’t for another hour, but they would see what they could do. We were put in the furthest corner of the resort in what felt like kids corner. We got there an hour early and were reminded check in wasn’t for another hour, but they would see what they could do. We were put in the furthest corner of the resort in what felt like kids corner. Our room service staff was phenomenal and the food was fantastic. We begged to stay a little longer and asked for an extended check out - on a Monday - and were told our room was reserved and we needed to leave. From the moment we checked in, we really felt like they couldn’t wait for us to leave and that we were a nuisance for just being there. Read less

Had a great 3 day stay here. This is a true ski-in/out hotel with a couple of lifts a few yards from the hotel. Our room was comfortable with an open fireplace. Ski lockers are downstairs near the base. There is a hotel bus that we caught in and out of Park City. It's easy enough to get an Uber into the town but much harder to get one back… Read more

Ski lockers are downstairs near the base. There is a hotel bus that we caught in and out of Park City. It's easy enough to get an Uber into the town but much harder to get one back late at night so you need to utilize the bus. There is a cafe in the hotel where we had a quick breakfast in the morning. Food choices in the Canyons are ok but Park City has a lot more to offer. Read less

I went to the Grand Summit for a business conference. The hotel, location, and room decor are beautiful. The conference facilities were very good -- audio/visual worked well, AV staff was helpful, layout for buffet, posters, and exhibits were good for ~200 person meeting. Since it was summer, the quality of facilities for cost was very good and it is a reasonable $45-50 Uber or Lyft ride from the SLC airport. Rooms had beautiful decor and looked recently renovated. Bathroom was large, with two sinks. Coffee in the room was great. But, the room itself was impractical for the business traveler. There is no chair, table, or desk in the room. It was even hard to eat food, let alone do any work in the room. The bathroom is very large and it would be much more useful to have laid out the room with a smaller bathroom and room for a chair and table. The lifts, ski check, and amenities would be directly accessible from the hotel, so obviously business travelers are not the target customer. But even on vacation, I would want to enjoy a snack or breakfast in the room with a place to sit and a place to put the food on. I would not want to pay double or triple the cost to get a kitchen area just to have a place to eat breakfast. Read less

Hotel seems to be made of cardboard. While clean and nicely decorated you could hear EVERYTHING. The first night we had a group of college students taking shots and pre and post partying (woke up at 2am as soon as they came home from the bars). Second night there was a family next door. Even when they were talking at regular volumes we could hear every word as if they were in our room. We called and complained and despite the hotel having multiple empty rooms available they refused to move us unless we paid more for an upgrade. I was amazed!! Never heard of an institution that could fix a problem at no cost to them, but then refused to. Other: Pool area was nice but so crowded it was unusable (even at night). Location ok - not much within walking distance in the summer aside from a few onsite restaurants (feels like it's in a suburb) but park city is only a 10 min drive away. There is self parking in a garage structure and free valet. Overall while it looks nice the construction of the place is so poor you can hear every creak and every cough. Very tough to sleep or relax. Read less
