Lovely staff, beautiful views, great hiking and outdoor excursions and enjoyable classes at the wellness center ranging from meditation, fitness, yoga and pilates. I decided to go by myself for New Years and it was a wonderful solo vacation spot. I had a wonderful stay. When I arrived I had booked a king bed room as I was alone and was given a queen room as no kings were available. I would like to commend Levi for his help and his allowing me the use of the connecting living room as it was not occupied. It made my stay and helped in the relaxation that exudes from the resort. Thank you to everyone and especially Levi! Read less

I write this in sadness over anger. This review has one star because zero stars is not an option. I have been coming here for 10 years myself and have also brought my department here for retreats. I write this in sadness over anger. This review has one star because zero stars is not an option. I have been coming here for 10 years myself and have also brought my department here for retreats. I’m sorry to say that I have witnessed the resort’s decline and today was simply the last straw. If you want a peaceful spa experience, go elsewhere. I went to the spa for a series of treatments to get some much needed rest after a stressful family event. I left more aggravated than when I came in. The spa staff does not know and/or has not been trained how to be quiet. Three times I heard staff raising their voices and having personal conversations in the treatment areas. When you are naked on a massage table, or trying to gather your thoughts in the lounge, you have no choice but to hear this intrusive inanity. It is NOT calming or restful. I strongly suggest that resort management visit nationally noted spas like Canyon Ranch, Miraval, or Golden Door to see how it is done. Red Mountain charges rates that are comparable to these spas but they are in no way equal. I’m sad to write this. How can you screw things up so badly and waste such a beautiful location? Read less

I will not return ever! Air conditioner did not work, beds were hard, sheets scratchy. The food options were marginal at best. I could not check out quickly enough. Save yourself the awful experience and book elsewhere.

I have wanted to visit this spa for a long time and finally in November 2019 I did. I was not disappointed. The entire staff was so great .The food was wonderful as were the spa services. There are so many extra outdoor events in which to participate .Can’t wait to go back.

The red rocks surrounding the resort provided a staggering view every day and were even better as hiking scenery. The daily guided hikes were a wonderful combination of beautiful scenery, good exercise and interesting information from the guides. Fitness classes were well led. Dinners were top notch and breakfast always a reliable spread; lunch seemed starch heavy. Spa treatments were very good. Bed was way too soft and perhaps too old to offer a good night's sleep. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the resort for those looking for hikes, fitness classes and relaxation in a gorgeous setting. Read less
