Omni Charlottesville

Charlottesville, Virginia

The hotel

Short of sleeping in the shops and restaurants themselves, you can’t get much closer to Charlottesville’s historic Downtown Mall than this. Just moments from its 7 pedestrianised blocks of shopping, dining, theatres, and entertainment, Omni Charlottesville Hotel has the perfect pitch in the city. It even has views over Downtown Mall from its cool and casual restaurant, The Pointe, which forms part of the hotel’s stunning 7 storey atrium. Its address may be favoured by all who visit Charlottesville, but only guests get to step inside and enjoy the hotel’s line up of luxuries, which include a heated indoor pool and whirlpool, a seasonal outdoor pool, a fully geared up fitness hub, and guestrooms which mix contemporary comforts with a nod to the South’s legendary love of grace and refinement.

Stayed one night for business, clean but outdated room. Great location for just about anything in Charlottesville. Its nothing fancy but will serve the purpose of a clean room and good nights sleep if you are in the area.

Started with an easy and accommodating checkin. They listened to my request for a quiet room as well as directed me to a lunch spot. The hotel is clean, update and modern. The rooms are comfy and well appointed with kurigs, nice linens, large tub, nice views. Nice bath products that even included a shower cap. It is a quiet hotel but for when people go in and out of their rooms or are in the hallway. They offer free WiFi if you join their reward program. It was spotty at times but it worked enough. Location is amazing we usually stay up by the university this was a nice change staying in the downtown mall area close to everything. Will definitely return. Read less

Omni hotel in Charlottesville is a very nice hotel, perfectly located in the heart of downtown Charlottesville. Complimentary parking for guests was even better. Hotel was very clean and staff was great.

This hotel needs a renovation. I don't think even with an upgrade it would be a good hotel. If this is typical of Omni...I am not a fan. Service was not good and hotel not seeming clean...just not a good experience.

Felt really stupid trying to get an elevator; must use room key which no one warned me or there was no sign. Had difficulty getting out of the parking lot as instructions were confusing… Read more
