What a gorgeous property. At night it almost seems like a movie set, it just can’t be real. It was my first time staying at this conrad. Without a doubt, this is the nicest hotel in the brand. Staff was fabulous and helpful. My room was jaw dropping. Great view. Nice room features. I think I may have been the only one in the hotel on a Monday during Covid. I would love to come when the bar is open. and there is some energy. Certainly that’s not Hilton’s fault. I’ll be back. My new fave in DC! Read less

Originally my wife and I had wanted to travel to Amsterdam in July and celebrate our Anniversary with a stay at the Waldorf Astoria. For obvious reasons that did not happen. We were determined to try and do something special and settled on a trip to Washington DC and a stay at the Conrad. I received a confirmation email from, Vera, the front office manager explaining what was going on at the Conrad DC and what kind of safety measures they would have in place during our stay. I responded and let her know we would be coming there to celebrate an Anniversary that we had been hoping to go to Amsterdam for. We corresponded and she graciously upgraded us to a suite. That would have been more than generous by itself. When we arrived and went up to our room. (All the staff is wearing masks and they're are sanitizers everywhere you could think of) On the dining table in the Suite were pictures of the Waldorf in Amsterdam as if we were being welcomed there for our Anniversary. - Please see the pictures below. She also had a couple bottles of Heineken and some Dutch Caramel Wafers waiting for us and a handwritten note welcoming us and recognizing our Anniversary. The next day they also treated us to a half bottle of wine on the outdoor terrace. Vera, Stephanie, Raylee and Rebecca were all amazing and made us feel special and welcomed in the midst of all that is going on in Washington and a global pandemic. No request was too big and nothing too small. I can't say enough about the staff. The thought they put into our stay and the attention to detail in incomparable. The room was incredible too, it was the perfect space to relax, watch the rain, drink a Heineken, take long baths and sit in the chair opposite the fireplace. The curtains and sheers as well as all the lighting could be controlled from the wall which made everything so easy. It was a wonderful 4 nights and we were sad to leave. If you are thinking about traveling to DC and have any concerns about safety or anything else please reach out to the staff they would be more than happy to assist you. The Conrad is a gem if you can get out and take advantage of it! Read less

I want to start off by saying in these tough times the staff at this hotel went above and beyond on safety and hospitality. The front desk staff was always welcoming and tended to everything I needed. Vera checked me in and was absolutely wonderful, she upgraded my room for my lengthy stay which made a huge difference in comfort. She also went above and beyond in getting me local IPAs that they stored in the back as the hotel was just opening and couldn’t provide their normal service. Emma, Rebecca, and Stephanie were always so professional yet very personable to me and all the other guests. They were all great to chat with and a good start to the morning as I headed out. Ray and Jackie in the Estuary bar are very friendly and their cappuccino skills are on point. They are easy to have a conversation with and are always asking if they can provide anything more. Lawrence and Joseph are always around helping the staff and guests, it was nice to know there was someone there to assist you with bags, doors, and a sports conversation when needed. If you have a chance to meet Troy and Marquese they are 2 very friendly managers that are keeping the hotel humming and safe. Troy also helped bring in some local IPA for me that went above and beyond the hospitality guests are used to. I really appreciated the entire staff, everyone I encountered was always so nice, practiced safety protocols, and assisted with all needs and more. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone; this hotel has become my new mainstay for all my DC trips. Thank you to all the staff at the Conrad for making my stay feel like a home away from home. Read less

Great hotel and really fit for the star level. Amazing big glass windows and rooms have unique shapes instead of being boring squares. The bathroom was also very updated, and we loved the lighting in the room.
