This was my first time in DC and I am planning to come back this fall. This hotel was in a very safe area and I felt comfortable walking around alone with my kids to the nearby mall. Staff was friendly, especially the check-in process. We all enjoyed the warm cookies. The only downfall was the cost of parking. I was not expecting to pay $35+ a night to park. Would definitely stay again in the fall but will look for a hotel with free parking first. Read less

I just checked in for a week’s stay. The receptionist was rude to me, obviously frustrated by a booking error where two rooms were reserved under my name instead of one. It was easily fixed, but her annoyance was palpable. Two elevators are broken, so there are lengthy waits to get to other floors. The internet connection free, but is poor for… Read more

It was easily fixed, but her annoyance was palpable. Two elevators are broken, so there are lengthy waits to get to other floors. The internet connection free, but is poor for Hilton Honors members, but you can upgrade to high speed for 5.95 per day. They should just have decent wifi instead of nickel-and-diming us. On the upside, my room has a great view of the city! I think the room is pricey enough that we should have decent wifi. Read less

The ones over the national mall were awesome. It was nice to enjoy them in the ac since it was so hot out. We stayed at their sister hotel embassy suites the night before. We checked out and figured we would try to see if we could check in early and they let us! We were so happy. We took the free shuttle to Pentagon city mall. We ended up walking back to the hotel and stopping by Whole Foods. All of this was walkable distance. It’s also a safe and quiet area. It was just myself and 2, 11 year old boys. The room was clean. The only downside was the double beds are pretty small. The boys were not able to share like I thought they would and they would not allow a roll away bed due to the layout of the room. Check out was fast and easy because I used the Hilton Honors app. The hotel does need some cosmetic up dates in the doors, but I would totally stay here again! Read less

We stayed here for the Fourth of July, and we had a great experience. We had booked our visit several months in advance, and we had it requested adjoining rooms with my in-laws. When we arrived they discovered that they did not have any of those rooms available, so Jennifer at the front desk upgraded us to a better room at no additional charge to ensure that we were able to get the adjoining rooms that we had requested. She spent twenty minutes checking each room individually to find something that worked. The rooms were spotless, there were plenty of towels, and housekeeping did a great job. They even gave us extra cookies at checkout when we requested them. The only room for improvement I could find was the Internet did not work during our visit, and the lifeguard at the pool was very rude. Other than that, it was a perfect visit! Read less
