Marijuana smell all over the 6th floor. No internet (even though advertised). AC is super loud. The hotel is super dirty and under reconstruction. Please avoid during a pandemic... It was one of the worst stay we’ve had in a while.

Great location in DuPont Circle, however the facilities as modern looking as they seem are old and show wear and tear not much upkeeping. I visited the facility 4 years ago and it was in much better shape.

No Lobby. Hotel is under construction. Elevators and hallways in bad shape. Main entrance is through a side door in the garage. Rooms were average. The only good things are the location and the staff. No amenities available.

My stay wasn’t the most pleasant. Not really much of a complainer but when my money is involved it is necessary for me to be honest. Was not the most pleasant stay but what I was there for was leisure so I was in and out. Prob will not be staying there again

Holding an informational meeting or event in the middle of a pandemic is complicated. We held a successful week of programming with the help of the Embassy Row Hotel staff in Washington, D.C. I’ve been a long-time customer, staying at the hotel for a week at a time, two to three times a year for 18 years. I’ve come to know this remarkable place and it’s equally impressive staff. In all my years of travel, like the rest of the world, I’ve never experienced such a challenging travel time as I’ve had in 2020. With this trip, I was planning to hold an informational meeting for the community at the hotel but could not hold it at the Embassy Row due to their exciting construction and renovation work and their upcoming affiliation with Marriott. That didn’t stop their assistance and above-and-beyond service! Their General Manager Jennifer made phone calls for me, found a nearby hotel, talked to their sales manager, and helped arrange our event. In addition to this kind of service, I was greeted with smiles, a warm welcome by their front desk team, greeted by hotel engineers, and embraced (in a socially distanced kind-of-way) by every staff member I met. Without hesitation, please think of Embassy Row as your first place to consider for your next visit to Washington, D.C. Read less
