Embassy Row Hotel

Dupont Circle and Embassy Row, Washington DC

The hotel

Recently renovated, this one-of-a-kind hotel has been taken over by an urban funk and eclectic flair. Perfectly located in DuPont Circle, the Embassy Row features a cozy and vibrant public space, including a lounge, a library, social lobby, boutique café, and innovative restaurant with its own 24- hour chef’s pantry and refreshing patio overlooking Embassy Row. At night, this space changes from a tasty coffee shop to the hotel’s restaurant Station Kitchen & Cocktails, offering a delicious selection of artisanal cocktails and tapas plates to share. Another new addition is the outdoor rooftop terrace and bar that puts you on the shoulders on DC. The rooftop is also where you’ll find the swimming pool, complete with lounge area and cabanas – the perfect respite after a day’s sightseeing. The only thing they ask you to do here is to sit back and relax; they will take care of you from the moment you walk in the door.

It happened again! From making reservations and check-in, to incredible drinks at the bar at the end of the day, to a warm welcome, good morning, and good night from the reception staff and doormen, it was another great stay at the Embassy Row Hotel. The room was beautiful with a great view. The morning breakfast and coffee was amazing. I’ve been staying at the Embassy Row for many years and it just keeps getting better-it’s become my home away from home when I’m visiting our nation’s capital (3-4 times a year for a about a week each time). Without question the facilities are superb. What makes the Embassy Row really special are the people who work there—they go out of their way to make every trip special: Jin, Wanda, Evelyne, Lynnea, Aisha, and Ahlem, all working the front desk. Assistant Managers Fassil, Lyle, and Frank. Jorge, one the best bartenders around and Brandon one of the best baristas. Every organization needs a strong and visionary leader. This hotel has one in their new General Manager, Jennifer who’s been making nuanced improvements to this well-known hotel. I’m in hotels almost every week across the country and without question, this is one of the best. For work or pleasure, Embassy Row is the best bet for an incredible stay. Read less

The breakfast is much below 2 star hotel standard, in content and in service! The room are clean and for one person are acceptable, for two are small. Very nice Gym. Looking at value for money.... can do… Read more

And nearby access to Metro makes movement around the city easy. The Embassy Row Hotel is clean, comfortable and makes for a pleasant stay. We came to DC to visit our daughter who is in college there. Dupont Circle area is such a convenient area to be in--lots of great food, easy to Uber to other locations, and close enough to walk to some as well. Embassy Row Hotel was perfect for us. Quiet location, clean, and with great amenities--thinking of the bake shop. I would recommend it! … Read more
