The hotel was very clean and the aesthetic is very nice . Service could have been more professional and there is maintenance so it was a bit loud during the day but other than that would recommend 👍🏼

I was booked at the Wink by my conference hosts. I arrived at 3 PM on a Thursday to check in but the room was not ready. I had to get changed to go to an event but had to wait for 40 minutes before the room was ready. The hotel is under renovation, which they did not mention when the room was booked. Major mayhem in the lobby and constant noise of drilling and work throughout the hotel from 7 AM onwards, including on the weekend (I checked out on Saturday). I get to my room, and find that the safe does not work, the nightstand lightbulb is burned, and the TV remote control which I touched was all sticky and disgusting. I had to wash my hand for five minutes to get the filth off it. I called them to fix these problems and clean the room, but they did not. I had to call a second time before the problems were fixed. In addition, and even though my room was paid fo by my hosts, their "system" charged my credit card for an extra night. When I brought this to their attention, they nonchalantly informed me that it was a "system glitch" and that I will get my money back in 3 to 4 business days. Mind you, this is in addition to the money they hold on your credit card for incidentals, except that the room has no minibar, or even coffee, and therefore there are no incidentals for them to block your credit card for. The staff was not very helpful and mildly apologetic. I am a frequent traveler but have never un my two decades of business travel had such a horrid experience as I did at The Wink. Avoid this hotel like the plague! Read less

I have stayed here many times over the past few years, but this time there were more cons than pros. Although the staff is nice, they were very flustered and seemed stressed. This was my first time staying in a renovated room, which was much nicer than the old ones. However, it was still unfinished - they should not have let guests stay in them until they were fully completed. The shower did not have any ledges for toiletries and there was no rack for a hand towel next to the sink. The rooms are now more modern and the beds are comfortable, but they are missing basic things. Also, the lights illuminating the room numbers in the hallway are so bright they are blinding. It has potential once the renovations are finished, but for now there is no lobby and it is by no means a place you can go back and relax before going up to your room. Read less

I'll start with the pros. The staff was very friendly and the bed was super comfortable. That said I stayed there 3 days on business and would never stay there again. Now for the cons. I'll start with the pros. The staff was very friendly and the bed was super comfortable. That said I stayed there 3 days on business and would never stay there again. Now for the cons. I stayed in one of the "newly remodeled" rooms. They are incredibly small, but the first two things I noticed were a dirty handprint on the table as soon as I walked inside and what I thought was filthy carpet. Once I got in I realized it was just raw concrete floors. They have not been polished or finished in any way you can still see the carpet divots and they just look dirty. The shower has absolutely no shelving of any kind so you have to set your toiletries on the floor. There is no soap holder so your soap goes on the floor of the shower or on the sink directly. It just felt dirty. The handprint was there on the table all three days just as clear as day one. The headboard is leather and basically looks like graffiti. The door to my room didn't seem to close at the top and didn't make me feel very secure. You can tell they just painted because there is white paint all over the black tile. It definitely did not feel like a boutique hotel. It felt like a cheap roadside hotel. I think someone needs to go back to the drawing board on the remodel. I get that they are going for a arsty minimalist feel, but it needs to be functional and it just felt dirty. Read less

I stayed in the Wink hotel from 10/27 to 10/29. The stay was not a good one for several reasons. The hotel was under construction which I did not know this prior to booking the room. They should really shut down for this construction. Instead I was charged full price when I would have had a better experience at a motel for a quarter of the price. The issues we experienced are as follows: -Tiny room, photos are deceiving -Refridgerator barely worked -There was hammering and drilling both mornings disturbing our sleep every morning. -The floor was cement and by cement I mean raw cement with no paint, dirty looking, and cold. There was a rug under the bed that did not cover the floor. -The bathroom has 0 privacy. The barn door has a huge crack for no privacy and there is no ceiling vent fan. -The tv has a google chrome option which I tried several times. Finally I called the front desk and was informed this feature is not available - then why advertise it. -There were intermittent tv issues in general, it would freeze and stop working. -On our last day on the morning of check out, the water was completely shut off! We couldnt shower or flush the toilet. I went downstairs and asked to use a bathroom and was informed they didn't have one - We were checked in late, but couldn't keep our car there late the last day even though we paid for a full day - I wrote to them twice via email or Facebook and no response.
