Great room. In a great location, restaurant in the lobby is great, but can be pricey. I have stayed in many different Hilton's and the large windows put this one to the top of the favorites list. There are many Hilton options in the area. Choose this one!

This Hotel is clean, the staff are professional and efficient, and the location is perfect for touring. I traveled by subway to Foggy Bottom Metro and walked 10 minutes to the hotel. There is a grocery store and several convenience stores on the way to grab snacks. I arrived after midnight but I was welcomed by the receptionist with a smile. The next morning my son and I ate at the restaurant downstairs. The food was very good with a variety of choices for breakfast and lunch. The hotel was an easy walk to the famous landmarks of Georgetown, the Kennedy Center, and the Washington Harbor. I asked for a map and walked to see the former home of First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Julia Childs, and The Tudor Gardens. I noticed others taking formal tours. After touring the pristine homes I walked down Wisconsin Ave. to M Street for shopping and food. The I walked down a hill and crossed the C&O Canal to Water Street. There is a waterfront park with views of Virginia on one side and the Kennedy Center on the other. In between is the Washington Harbour. If you are not a walker there are several cabs or call an Uber to meet you at the door. Natives of DC know you can walk 2 blocks down the street and catch the Circulator for a dollar or a local bus. This Hotel is convenient to it all. Read less

I was here for just one night, but was impressed by how well kept were the hotel’s public areas and the room I stayed in. We came to DC to see a play, check out ethnic restaurants and visit with family. We arrived 4 hours early and they kept our luggage while we went for breakfast. They sent us a text about an hour later when the room was ready. Checking in was a breeze and the hostess delightful. Our room has two extremely comfortable beds with three pillows on each. Snuggle time. WiFi works well and there is sufficient space for the two of us to not bump into one another. We were impressed enough to join the Hilton Honors program which holds the promise of a similar state of comfort. Read less
