Hyatt Place Washington DC US Capitol

Washington DC, USA

The hotel

A casually chic hotel with a great range of amenities, the Hyatt Place – renowned for providing a high level comfort – makes the ideal base for sightseeing. Well-equipped rooms allow plenty of space for guest to recharge in-between bouts of sightseeing or head to the seasonal outdoor swimming pool either to splash about or to relax on the sun deck with a book. No need to worry about a spot of over indulgence either in one of the many restaurants that surround you – you can counteract it at the fitness centre, open 24/7. A hearty complimentary breakfast is served at the Kitchen Skillet and the coffee bar transforms into a cocktail bar at night for pre-dinner drinks. For exploring further afield, the Metro is a hop and a skip away, whisking you into the heart of it all.

Comfy beds, always clean room and general spaces. I would visit again and highly recommend it! Read less

Everything besides the breakfast was great...My room was ready by 1:00pm even though check in is a t 3:00 pm. The staff is great! But the breakfast is not good at all. The starbucks coffee at the front desk is a big plus!

This hotel was off the beaten path and away from regular tourist spots but was great with smaller restaurants in walking distance through revitalized NoMo neighborhood! Loved the Red Hen restaurant!!!

I stayed for 4 nights, and thought it was a good choice. The room was clean, and a decent size, and the staff were excellent. I like to walk everywhere, so it was a bit of a walk to the museums etc., but that was my choice, as I could have caught the metro. The area is not the prettiest part of Washington DC, but I was on my own and walked day and night and felt perfectly safe. This was my first visit to Washington DC, and was very impressed with the museums, galleries etc., and would definitely like to return. If I do, I would choose this hotel again, and know that I can expect great service. Read less

The staff is very nice the room is very clean the overall location was terrible but the thing that bothers me the most is $43 to park your car that is ridiculous hopefully this review will change that.
