I have enjoyed my weeks stay. Staff have been friendly and willing to assist. Special mention to Milorad who has brightened my experience with his kind demeanor. Looking forward to another time here when I am back in DC.

A special mention to Mr. Johnny who has been very helpful. He assisted me a great deal in getting to know the place and generally advised me on the do's and dont's which has been very useful especially because it's my first time in DC. Kudos to him and the entire team at the Kimpton George Hotel, DC. Keep up the good work!! Read less

My room was at the end of a hall on the second floor, next to a room marked “storage.” I thought this might make it on the quieter side but unfortunately, it seems all of the linens for the floor were stored there so housekeeping was constantly in and out beginning early in the morning opening the door and letting it slam repeatedly. I could see where the hotel might have been nice at one time but pretty much every aspect I saw could use a little TLC. The following items were not functioning during my three-night stay: in-room refrigerator, in-room clock, and the ice maker on the second floor. The staff were very friendly and my wake-up call came right on time each day by a live person. I don’t know what the rate was as my employer picked up the tab but I’m sure it wasn’t cheap. This experience will cause me to steer away from the Kimpton brand for awhile. Read less

Stayed here for one night and was really impressed with Brian who I contacted about deliveries, he responded quickly and kept my deliveries and was so exceptional in service. We were checked in by Sirey who was very kind and helpful. Our room was lovely and so conveniently located in downtown Washington. Overall a great stay.

The check-in was quick and easy. Mary E. at the front desk was excellent at making us feel welcome. The room was nice and comfortable. Prices for room service was a little steep but let's be real, it is D.C. Everything cost twice here what its costs anywhere else so this was not shocking. All-in-all, we had a good stay. I also want to thank the gentlemen at the front desk who found us a taxi. I didn't get his name but he walked half a block to grab a taxi big enough for the whole family. Very good service. I would stay here again. Read less
