This was a great place to stay. The service was excellent! Restaurants were right around the corner and the National Zoo was a nice 10 minute walk away. It was also nice to have a CVS across the street even though the little store in the hotel seemed to have all necessary items one would need.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice. Conference center is large and well laid-out. The only reason that I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the some customer service in the bar/lounge can be lacking.

Everyone at the hotel was pleasant and helpful. The service staff at Roberts was especially nice. We were in DC to see our daughter so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel, but breakfast and the doormen, etc. made our stay very enjoyable.

When you arrive at 2:00 am, you want to check in and get something to eat and go to bed......except the hotel's food service stopped at midnight, there's no cubby area by the front desk to grab snacks, chips, water or a diet soda. We are in the middle of nowhere (because this is where my conference is for the next few days) and all the nearby restaurants and stores are closed. There's no water bottles in the room so I'm left with putting ice in a bucket, pulling out the coffee cup and drinking tap water from the bathroom. Not the best impression for a very expensive hotel. Such wasted space in the lobby area and you can't put in a small grab 'n go snack area. Read less

The service teams, the menus, and the beautiful hotel with the excellent music - a great place to visit DC The National Zoo is down the street walking distance, and area is very safe. Parking was very expensive, factor that into you overall costs.
