We were excited to experience the St. Regis for the first time. Unfortunately no bellman opened the door for us and we entered the hotel pushing our own cart and found an empty lobby. Eventually someone came out to set us up with a room. The room was very small, we did not receive an upgrade pursuant to our Marriott gold elite status. The room was noisy and we were unable to get a good rest because of many slamming doors. We moved to the Ritz, which was an improvement, but not perfect. Next visit, we will likely stay at the Trump hotel. Read less

Great, classic hotel in the heart of everything you'd want to see in DC. Special thanks to Doorman James who is the definition of 'Gentleman.' He does an exceptional job. You'll be greeted with a smile, courtesy just like you're royalty!

My wife and I stayed here for a 4 day weekend and it was amazing from start to finish. Service was impeccable, friendly and we genuinely felt like VIP frequent guests. Restaurant and bar were excellent. Location us superb.

Perhaps the best hotel in DC. Go visit the bar. Terrific ambiance. Impeccable, friendly service sets the Regis apart from its competitors. Christian is an outstanding waiter. His colleagues are fantastic, too.
