Gray Wolf Inn at West Yellowstone

Montana, Wild West

The hotel

For most, the location of Gray Wolf Inn & Suites would be enough: just two blocks from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, you’re minutes from its famous natural attractions. But that didn't stop the owners giving the inn a $1.4 million makeover, with everything from the rooms to the swimming pool getting a facelift. Welcoming guests all year round, so you can see the region in every season, the inn’s spacious rooms and suites are popular with families. The complimentary parking means road trips are easy, although many West Yellowstone highlights are within strolling distance, with Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center just over the road, and Yellowstone Historic Center and Yellowstone IMAX Theatre two blocks away.

These rooms are clean and comfortable. The view of the town and mountains was beautiful. We could walk to town. The staff is wonderful and Klin at the front desk was great. The breakfast was amazing. We loved all the food and warm cookies hit the spot. Love this place.

Our stay at The Grey Wolf Inn was so much better than expected. Although the hotel room wasn’t completely equipped with modern appliances, the attention to detail exceed any other hotel we’ve stayed at. Thank you Courtney, Kelly, and Rob as well as the other staff there. We will be coming back to stay during our next visit to West Yellowstone. Read less

The staff are polite and the rooms are clean and modest. CONS: Fridge in our room was so loud we unplugged it & 1 of the lights buzzed. The walls are very thin and we could hear next rooms… Read more

Gray Wolf In is a large hotel two blocks off of the main West Yellowstone establishments. It has any and every local tour company stopping by to pick up folks for tours. Great place. Highly recommended.
