Spent a night here in July and for the same price as the Cowboy Village, it doesn't stack up. Rooms are in need of upgrades and one of two rooms we had the AC didn't work and manager tried to say it was due to a shower two hours previously. Fortunately, they provided a different room but it was somewhat inconvenient to move. The pool are is nice.… Read more

Check in was so easy and professionally handled. I was one block away when I made the reservation when I walked in the lady at the front desk had my paperwork in hand. The room was comfortable and had plenty of drawers for our belongings. They even had real glasses to drink from. The room is clean. They have a rag for use on anything your car,… Read more

This hotel is in the perfect location for walking to restaurants, downtown Jackson, and the Snow King chair lifts. We could leave our car there and explore the areal. It was clean and quiet. It could use an update for how much we paid to stay there. The breakfast was supposed to be grab and go because of COVID, but it was the regular buffet. And… Read more

We selected this hotel for a week-long getaway based on their rigorous Covid standards. The room was fine, pretty typical, and the staff was prompt with fresh towels, toiletries, etc. due to the new precautions. However, the breakfast was ATROCIOUS. People not wearing masks, tables not wiped down between customers (and no means to do it yourself), and no one bothering to even ask guests to put on masks. One woman and her two kids showed up barefoot and without masks, and when someone asked them to put on masks she said "we don't do that; I'm not afraid." When we brought this concern to the front desk, the manager shrugged and said they were understaffed and that it was "too hard" to ask people to put on masks. THERE IS A MASK ORDER IN PLACE FOR JACKSON COUNTY! The 49-er proudly touts itself as "A Safe Home Away from Home" which is definitely not the case. Read less
