We stayed 3 nights and used the hotel as a base for our days in the Grand Tetons. Centrally located, well furnished, friendly and accommodating staff. A bit pricey, but worth the splurge. The bar was fun with live music nightly. I would pass on the restaurant— it was understaffed and had mediocre food.

Chose this hotel based on a friend's experience and Tripadvisor reviews. This historic hotel is an excellent choice. It is located in downtown Jackson within walking distance to everything. We stayed in the western themed Teton suite which was very nice. This hotel has a full service restaurant and a lively bar which seems to be very popular with locals and tourists. The private parking lot for guests is a plus. Jackson was very crowded during our visit, and finding a place to park can be difficult otherwise. Even though the hotel was built in 1941, it was completely rebuilt after a 1980 fire destroyed most of the building. The onsite restaurant is also very nice with good food and reasonable prices. We stayed for two nights in the Silver Dollar Suite. Sleep quality and amenities were excellent. Room was at least 850 square feet. All personal were friendly and professional. The location can’t be beat. This was our first time in Jackson and if we’re back we will stay at The Wort.
