We booked a King "Grand" for 3 nights- huge with a sofa, desk, coffee table, 2 leather chairs, a mini fridge, lovely toiletries, safe, HUMIDIFIER, (dry western air) hangars, robes, slippers, great lighting, plenty of USB outlets, fabulous sheets and wonderful bed- tho as others mentioned it is high and a bit of a jump-up perhaps for elderly. The bathroom has a large outer area with closet and sink with Kuerig coffee maker (Starbucks k-cups and creamer cups in mini-fridge). The toilet/ tub/shower is an inner room. Housekeeping and evening turndown were spot on, and all the employees were so kind and friendly. The problem: I emailed twice before arriving requesting a quiet room, having read reviews complaining about noise, and knowing we had to be up very early for a tour . Our Room 209 was directly over the bar and restaurant area, with a live band playing cowboy rock until 11.15pm. Our room was literally shaking. As another reviewer posted basically rooms 201-218 18 are over the bar restaurant, facing Broadway (see photo). The lovely manager - Victoria- really knocked herself out to get us moved and re-situated the next day for our last 2 nights, but it was distruptive. We were quite tired that day. The "Grand"room we moved to (219) was wonderful, quiet as a tomb. The hotel is built rock solid, no hallway noise or next door seepage at all. If youre looking for quiet, be sure to CALL THE DAY BEFORE to make sure. Read less

Really enjoyed the outside cocktails and dining at the Wort Hotel in Jackson. Sits right on a Main Street so plenty to see. Had drinks one night and came back for dinner twice. The hotel is a historic classic you need to cruise through. Great bar and inside restaurant but as the weather was beautiful we loved the outside. Food and drink was great… Read more

On our way to Yellowstone National Park, friends and I flew in to Jackson Hole. We stayed at The Wort for two nights and wished we had more time there. The location is perfect--shopping and great restaurants are within walking distance. I also liked the fact that the hotel had free parking close by (within a locked lot). Check in was a breeze;… Read more

Check in was a breeze; the staff was friendly and most helpful. When you stay there, you get a real feel of the cowboy/cowgirl culture of the true West. I would definitely return for another visit. We really enjoyed our stay at the Wort. The room was spacious and stocked with amenities, including books for us to read during our stay. The location is extremely convenient, and the private parking area was a godsend, as parking in Jackson is very limited.

We were in the Cowgirl Suite, which was spacious and filled with beautiful artwork. The staff were all very accommodating and remembered our names. Extra touches included chocolates on our pillow every evening and a yellow rose in a nearby vase. This is the prefect location to enjoy downtown Jackson.
