This is a gorgeous hotel in a great location and we would stay here again. Two negatives: in two of a four night stay, we heard the garbage disposal early in the morning. Not fun to hike 12 miles on 3 hours sleep. Ask for a room FAR away from that nonsense. Second, after three nights of awesome service, there was a shift change on a Sunday night… Read more

Second, after three nights of awesome service, there was a shift change on a Sunday night and service overall was terrible. Room service screwed up an order three times. It's like the JV comes in on Sundays. Otherwise, lovely hotel, huge king room, fantastic beds, great service, easy parking, close to everything in town. Read less

We like to stay in downtown areas and also like to pick something other than a chain. This hotel was very nice, staff was courteous and location was perfect. Bedding was nice and mattresses comfortable. A refrigerator in room was nice. We’d stay here again.
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great location but value for cost not worth it unfortunately ... I want them to stay in business but I paid for a 4 star

As I said above… I paid for a four-star and got barely a two star… Just not worth it for the cost. I would like them to stay in business as they are a lovely staff however I cannot recommend this hotel

It was perfect. The staff was so friendly. Our room was so clean there wasn’t one piece of dust anywhere. The room was so quiet. We couldn’t hear any guest from our room. The hotel must be built solid. We never heard people upstairs or to our sides. Walking the halls there are so many beautiful paintings that look like they are from a art museum.… Read more

There are also western items on display from along time ago showcasing what the hotel was like. This hotel was awesome and I would stay here again. Read less

Though our greeting on arrival was friendly by Sinjin, events after that are most disappointing. Our “luxury room” has one tiny window that faces a narrow utility alley- worst “view” I have ever experienced at any hotel. The expensive filet mignon dinner served via room service was cooked medium rare, not well done as ordered, and my companion could not eat it. Our pre-order breakfast request was never collected and thus never prepared. The disturbance from children playing in all the second floor hallways became intolerable. On the first night I spoke to one of the kids and he said they would quiet down- that was at 10:00pm. Today, at 8:30pm, as we returned from a tiring day, the kids were at it again. I asked them to quiet down. They did not. I called the front desk, they said they could do nothing. Then a couple of the kids began knocking on my room door and disappearing. I spoke to one telling them they were very disrupting and why were they knocking on my door....no reply. Things have quieted down at the moment (9:00pm), but I’m upset and will never stay here again or recommend this property. Read less
