The renovation are scheduled to be completed in early May when I would up the score from 3 to 4. All in all, a well managed facility. Read less

This hotel is convenient, clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. It’s in the middle of being remodeled, which can be a bit off putting BUT everyone was very respectful of noise and always allowed guests the right of way. Highly recommend this hotel if you prefer staying away from the tourist area but close enough to visit if you want.

My husband and my 2 month old stayed for my 30th birthday. I called because I wanted to request a crib because online that was an option. I was told they dont have any at all. Fine just another item to pack. Checkin took awhile as there was only one front desk agent. The room was just okay. It was large but the bed was very old and uncomfortable.… Read more

Fine just another item to pack. Checkin took awhile as there was only one front desk agent. The room was just okay. It was large but the bed was very old and uncomfortable. Also a few housekeeping issues. Dirty mirrors etc. To top all that my truck window was busted by someone and no one contacted me. I had to file a police report. Why do you not take vehicle descriptions to let them know when that happens? It seemed as though it happens all the time there. Breakfast was decent. My 2 month old son had a doctor's appt at 1pm but I couldnt drive him with a busted out window the fda did offer to shuttle us there which I appreciated. So not a pleasant stay. Read less

The hotel is close to UAA campus and the rooms are oversized. The breakfast is good, but it is not close to a restaurant or bar. You have to drive everywhere but not horrible. If you are going to the campuses or the hospital this would be the place for easy access.

Everything was lovely up until my final night stay. I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to a scratching sound. Turns out, the hotel is undergoing renovations (which I was not informed about at time of booking) and that workers were ripping tape off boxes and packing items across the hall (at 3:30 in the morning!). I asked the workers when they would be done. They apologized and closed the door but I could still hear everything even with earplugs. I called the front desk and they apologized but indicated they would have to speak to the manager. It’s a shame this happened because tomorrow I’m on an overnight flight home and will be missing out on sleep yet again. Thanks for a great start to Christmas break! Read less
