The hotel

This is a truly superb recently refreshed hotel with elegant surroundings, outstanding service and an enviable location on two white sand beaches lapped by gentle aqua waves, epitomising the Caribbean fantasy. The 17 tropical acres of gardens are beautifully tended and each of the buildings is romantically draped with brightly coloured bougainvillea — just adding to the delightful ambience. There's plenty to do during the day and you'll no doubt be tempted on to the beach by one of a generous array of water sports. Table tennis is popular and there's an 18-hole golf course 5 minutes away. Wind down in the evening (if you haven't done so already!) with a delicious coconut crush — liberally splashed with local rum — while you watch pelicans dive and swoop for their meals. Your dinner can be taken at one of the hotel's gourmet restaurants, complimented with an excellent Claret from the wine list. An amazing holiday experience.

A little slice of heaven— staff is wonderful and welcoming. Our concierge Nicole has given us 5 star service. The property is breathtaking, quiet and we had the best day on the property owned boat excursion! It has been everything we had hoped for and more. We will be back!

From the moment we arrived it’s like being home. It’s not our first time and we were pleased to see that The Randall Family constantly strives to improve and make this hotel outstanding. The food is first class. Chef Michael has nailed it! The Reef and The Cove along with The Palm Restaurant are all wonderful. We were on the all inclusive package and liked the variety of having three restaurants on site. The staff are all friendly especially Sparkle and Romaine. The cocktails were delicious and the bands at night were all entertaining & bought such a great atmosphere over dinner….. Nicole the conceige deserves a mention along with Julia, the new Manager. It’s the little things like being served fruit when out sun bathing. We can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you Blue Waters Such great memories that we will treasure forever. All in all - once again - the best holiday ever. Read less

We have spoken to Gary Randall, the family owner of Blue Waters Resort & Spa before posting this review. Now he personally understands what happened to us, we hope he can prevent this happening to his other guests. ___________________________________ If you are considering Bluewaters Resort & Spa and are unlucky enough to injure your foot on their hotel beach, beware Medical Surgical Associates, recommended by the hotel’s doctor. Doctor Joseph John charged us large medical fees and applied strong arm tactics to ensure prompt payment. In our case this included issuing a warrant of arrest for non payment of fees while his patient was recovering from surgery under general anaesthetic – despite having a commitment to pay from our insurance provider. Do not expect any support from Bluewaters Resort & Spa. Their management admitted a baliff and police to our room, unlocked our door from the outside and permitted the police to remove us in front of our sons, escorting us through their hotel into a police car. No management intervention. We were taken to court in a police car under cover of dark and at high speed, threatened with prison and endured a court appearance with no legal representation! Luckily our insurance company settled the bill in full while we were in court and so we were released back to the hotel. Unforgiveably the hotel management team offered us no support. In fact we were actively ignored for the remainder of our stay. Very uncomfortable. The hotel owner asserts he was not present at the time of this incident and apologises if we felt his staff 'didn't show us sympathy'! Before traveling do your due diligence on the island and this hotel. Read less

Lovely all inclusive hotel. Food and drinks were excellent. The hotel is on the beach. Great for a do nothing kind of holiday. The staff here are also fantastic. Any issues immediately sorted. Our WiFi was weak so we reported it to reception and by the time we returned to our room a booster had already been installed In our room.

Just returned from the most wonderful stay at Blue Waters Resort & Spa. Everything about the hotel and customer service was exceptional. We stayed in the Cove Suites, which were nicely appointed and very spacious rooms with an excellent sea view. The housekeeping team did a great job in keeping us tidy and the room clean. The resort has an excellent array of activities, we took part in yoga, sunset Pilates, a kayaking tour and a garden tour. The garden tour was really interesting and insightful into how much care is taken in keeping the gardens so beautiful. One of the highlights for us was a trip out on the Monterey boat with Owen, complete with sparkling wine and great music, Owen made this a really fun and special experience for us. Food was excellent, good variety and great quality. The service was really outstanding at Blue Waters, I saw another review mention Tiquesha on concierge, she really looked after us making sure we were booked on the hotel activities, our dinner reservations, checking in with us on WhatsApp that we were having a nice stay, sourcing us some of the Blue Waters rum to take home, and also arranging for our breakfast to be put in our room the night before our early morning start to Barbuda. Nicole was also very helpful in arranging our trip to Barbuda and offering helpful advice for this. We would absolutely return in the future, it is a truly special place! Read less
