There were plenty of those close. A special shout out to Lisa who seemed to work everywhere at the resort. What a sweetheart. Read less

This was our first time at Baker’s Cay, and we were pleasantly surprised by how incredibly gorgeous it is. The resort is located right on the water, and it has a serene tropical feel to it. Our room was clean, updated and comfortable. It had a nice outdoor area where we had a beautiful view of the trees and nature trail. Right beyond that was the water… and we were just steps away from the water. The pools are just steps in the other direction. They are small, but clean and the temp was perfect. What I loved the most was that we had the option of watching the sunset from the more private area of the beach or walking a bit further down and having access to the “toys” and the more beachy area. The toys are included in your resort fee (which also covers parking, Wi-Fi, etc). While we were there, we used the paddleboards, kayaks and pool floats. They also have fishing rods with bait, bicycles and other water toys. Overall, even with the restrictions in place, we had a wonderful experience and enjoyed the resort so much. Everything from the water activities to the movie on the lawn and the smores next to the beach… it was all memorable and special. Read less

Wow where do we begin! Excellent stay all around. Staff was very friendly and helpful in all departments. Unlike other recent reviews, we did not have to check in at the Front Gate. We arrived Thursday July 23rd in the evening. Being a Hilton Honors member we had a digital key for the room. I was traveling with my family and we had two rooms so I always like to still have a Physical key. As you approach the Front Desk you can clearly see the resort takes Health and Safety of all the Guests and their staff serious. Lots of places to get hand sanitizer and the Front Desk is equipped with Plexiglass and has social distance markers. Hannah, we believe assisted us at the Front Desk and was very informative and friendly, told us exactly what we could expect to do at the Resort. Carlos, the Director of Rooms came out and informed us of the QR code for the property. The QR code gives you a map of the property, menus, activities and safety/health precautions on site. We arrived at the Rooms and they were very clean and spacious. Breathtaking view of the Gulf and Beach. Our rooms were in the Coconut wing next to the Coconut Beach. Our family had 2 Connecting Rooms on the 1st Floor and was more than enough space for the 5 of us. Only drawback for us would be dragging in sand from the Beach. We understand we were at the Beach so it was totally acceptable for us. Depending on your preference either Beach is wonderful. We experienced both beaches. Hammock Beach is more relaxing and a serene area with less people. At Coconut Beach you have your Water sports, Outside Bar area and more activities. Coconut was definitely more crowded but we felt safe with the crowds. Our family enjoyed Canoeing and just relaxing in the water. Food and Beverage at the Resort is Amazing! We enjoyed a Dinner at Calusa with a great server and breathtaking sunset. My wife enjoyed the Rum Chicken and I had the Blackened Mahi. Highly recommend either dish. We had a piece of the award winning Key Lime pie and drinks at Dry Rocks, simply Delicious. We had friendly staff and would definitely go again. Great location, great staff and great value for the family. We will be back again! Read less
