Emirates Palace

Abu Dhabi, Middle East

The hotel

Every bit as palatial as the name suggests, Emirates Palace is fit for royalty. Its private beach, marina and bay give an air of intimate seclusion, while the location, on the Corniche in the heart of Abu Dhabi, says otherwise. Under 114 ornate domes, each 18 metres high, this regal retreat hosts elegant guest rooms, a truly indulgent spa (we’re talking gold and caviar body and beauty treatments), and 14 restaurants, cafés, lounges and bars catering to your every whim. Even its gardens are majestic, with 85 hectares promising tranquil strolls, yoga and two swimming pools: one for relaxation and the other for fun. The crown of Emirates Palace is its dining, from the Emirati dishes and décor at Mezlai to the award-winning Mezzaluna Italian restaurant. All after starting your evening in style at the caviar and champagne bar.

The hotel did not loose anything from its glance and elegance despite due to corona few restaurant were closed and lobby seemed unusually not busy... at least one have a chance to make great family pictures without strangers’ audience in them. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, we loved the covid care program with sealed room which you break upon arrival - nice touch! Experienced breakfast at Sayad and Lebanese, both were actually very good options, as you can walk straight to beach from the terrace. Special thanks to the beach club team for their dedicated work and patience with children. Truly feels like home! Read less

I stayed in the hotel Mid February. It was the week of my birthday so I decided to book on Emirates palace. I checked in just before sunset I love photography and love to share my experience with others. I booked a garden view but the view was “plant view” the room was in the ground level and corner which had like a wooden fence so I can see only green small plants!!!! Which was very disappointing!! I called to request another room they said it was fully equipped which I couldn’t believe. After my disappointment I went to discover the hotel which was like so big , no guidance, no staff no one to ask . I was wondering around I was lost! The doors didn’t open afterwards words they told me I have to use my room key. The spa only for treatment and paid services. The restaurants were overpriced. What made it worse I joined my son to have breakfast I ordered a cappuccino they brought black coffee 15 minutes later someone brought the cappuccino!!! I ordered pouched eggs which until this moment I never received.. I waited for the order to come more than half an hour. The juices where not fresh although one visitor complained and they rushed to satisfy him and brought him fresh juice.. the breakfast was 3 tables with small option of food. Honestly, I was shocked. The worst service ever. And when I went to the beach I left my bag and went kayaking, the umbrella was not opened, while all the guests were served the had a bucket of cold water and ice, rheum the guests had there umbrella open and they were provided with towels . Although I sat waiting for assistance but they disappeared. The hotel has lack of staff especially at the beach side. ****Positive points, staff at pool side were helpful, friendly we were well served. The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool was amazing although the slides were closed yet it was enjoyable. There is free kayaking and camel ride. Upon check in they offered late check out at 4pm they said because I was a VIP customer, I overheard them telling all the customers that the check out is 4pm. Seriously!! YES , They NEVER ANSWER THE phone!!!! It was a waste of money and precious time Read less

My sister and I stayed here for a few night pre-Covid. We had a great stay despite a huge Indian wedding literally taking over the grounds. The dining was superb as was the Spa. Hakkasan by far our favourite dining experience of the trip.

Was surprised by the birthday arrangement at the room upon arrival. with balloons and cake. Breakfast was amazing with a nice view (although there were limited variety of food). Pool water temperature was controlled.

We had a slightly rocky start to the experience of staying at the hotel, we made some notes and shared our thoughts with the staff and management. They were exceptionally responsive and tried their hardest to make our stay as comfortable and luxurious as possible. This reason alone, is 3hy you should stay here, the staff treat yoh like a king. I think places like this are hit hard due to the fact Covid has reduced staff numbers and the exceptional personal touches or servcies to your stays are not there at the moment. However the management go above ad beyond to make sure you feel welcome and appreciated. Visiting does not do it justice, one must stay and really embrace it. The pools and grounds are immaculately kept, and there are plenty of pathways to walk around and enjoy it.the food and service in the restaurants were something we will always remember, this is our new benchmark of how to judge a place.
