The hotel

A contemporary hideaway, the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall occupies a prime location, nestled between Jamaica’s famous Blue Mountain ridge and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. An adults-only retreat offering "Service from the Heart!", the atmosphere is gorgeously laid-back, ensuring plenty of rest and relaxation on the agenda. The private beach is nearly a mile long with swimmable coves to be alone in. All the usual sporting pastimes are on offer including beach volleyball, tennis, basketball. When the day fades, there are restaurants and bars galore, not just those belonging to the Zilara but to the family friendly sister hotel, the Ziva, as well, offering 12 distinctly different restaurants to choose from. Feast on cuisines from all around the world, including French, Pan-Asian, Italian, Brazilian and Caribbean. This hotel is great fun! No hard sell on anything. The pools are amazing. The hot tubs are amazing. The food is amazing especially the fish tacos at calypso restaurant. The z entertainment crew all are awesome - especially Kimberly!

All the staff were excellent and all so pleasant. The beaches were so beautiful and the food was so mouthwatering. We thoroughly enjoyed the live entertainment. We were never bitten by a single bug while on the property. It was heartbreaking to have to leave. The resort was VERY clean. They were constantly cleaning and they had hand sanitizer stations outside every store and restaurant. We felt safe while walking around the resort as we only took our masks off only when eating or in the pool. Even though we couldn't have our dream wedding we had a dream honeymoon! The grounds are breathtaking. The room is to die for and every single COVID Protocol enforced. The staff is absolutely amazing. Friendly, caring and super professional. The food was to die for! I will definitely be going back.

Spent 2 weeks at Hyatt Zillara. The staff was outstanding. Elvis on the beach had you waiting for nothing. Excellent service. The staff (Brandon) even went shopping for some stuff we needed,because we stayed longer than planned, on his day off!
