519 rooms and suites. The Great House and Butler Villas are located on the hillside of St. Ann Mountains, perfect for a more private romantic setting. Guests can use the complimentary shuttle service to the Riviera Seaside and Ochi Beach Club which is located across the road and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and facilities. All rooms with air-conditioning, satellite TV, complimentary WiFi access, telephone, iPod dock with alarm clock, private bath/shower, amenity kit, coffee maker, safe, iron and board, hairdryer and 1 king-size bed. All room types sleep maximum 2 adults. Great House Luxury Rooms overlook the gardens and mountains, and have bathroom with shower/tub combination.

Due to COVID-19, my husband and I had to check out early and the Front Desk gave me the option to apply 2 nights of our trip towards a new vacation if we booked it immediately. We booked the trip, paid a $250 deposit, and were told the paperwork for the voucher would be provided at checkout the next morning. When we checked out we were told it wasn’t ready and would be mailed to our house in 2 weeks. The voucher never arrived and when contacted, Sandals Customer Service said we had to file a claim through the travel insurance company. Our claim sat for 100 days before being denied. Sandals was contacted again and had no answers for me. They promised to have a resolution in 24-72 hours but it has been over a week and they are non-response to my attempts to contact them. Do not trust this company unless you have everything in writing UPFRONT. Read less

We were told by the customer service agent we could revise our trip dates or cancel and be refunded in the future. He must have just wanted us off the phone (which I get, busy times). As our local cases are growing, we called to cancel and asked for a refund. We were told we won't receive anything. Not even a "minus the deposit." We were told it's due to our trip being rescheduled so they felt they did enough for us. You'd think they would have let us know that was the case. Sandals. Please do not send me your PR scripted copy and paste message. Yes travel is a personal decision right now etc. But for a resort that says it's all about their guests you'd think you'd give the option of refunds with maybe the hopes I would rebook when I felt safe. Instead I'll never book a trip here. And I'll advise others to avoid you as well. Read less

Our actual stay is July 4 to 11 2020. (We are going for a family wedding). This is our first trip and I was excited and I'm not anymore...we haven't even made it to Sandals yet and I am not impressed. Our initial resort was Sandals Southcoast, however due to covid-19 we were moved to Montego Bay on June 11 2020. I'm not upset about the move...I'm upset about how it's been handled. At Southcoast we were in a basic beach front walk out suite (specifically because we wanted the first floor)...when we called sandals regarding the move we were put in a 2nd floor concierge gbt room and told the difference would be taken care of. The agent told me she sent an email to accounting to zero out the difference. We were put in the gbt room as it was the "price comparable room" to our original Southcoast room and the only left (supposedly). We really wanted the swim out lagoon room and were willing to pay a small difference but told it was unavailable. Well when we checked online the swim out room was available. After 2 phone calls we were able to get upgraded to the swimout room for a small fee, (that fee was the difference between the swimout and gbt room according to sandals website) and still told the difference from gbt and Southcoat original would be credited. A week later I check my credit card statement and I've been charged the difference in the rooms, after we have paid the swimout upgrade fee!! I call Sandals to dispute the charge, I'm told a supervisor will call me back in 72 hours, and they don't. I call back on the 4th day and am transferred to a supervisor to be told an investigation has to be opened and phone calls have to be reviewed. So I still don't have the difference back! At this point I am at least 3 phone calls in and 3 hours of phone time in and I am beyond annoyed and frustrated. I fail to see how Sandals has been the number one resort for 11 years running because they definitely don't know their right from their left or how to communicate or solve a problem. None of the agents seems to have properly documented anything in the notes, or we have gotten conflicting stories about the notes and lastly we didn't choose to move resorts...Sandals moved us...and they seem to not be understanding that!! After this trip and this hassle I have NO desire to go back! Read less
