Designed in the style of a bathtub, there are 2 swimming pools which come complete with a 10 foot tall silver ‘rubber ducky’.

I’ve worked in the hotel industry for 13 years and I can’t believe the service that we received during our stay. I asked for towels and ice multiple times and never received them. We paid for a day bed rental at Hyde for an entire day and they told us at 2:30 that we had to leave within 10 minutes because there was a private event scheduled.… Read more
I’ve worked in the hotel industry for 13 years and I can’t believe the service that we received during our stay. I asked for towels and ice multiple times and never received them. We paid for a day bed rental at Hyde for an entire day and they told us at 2:30 that we had to leave within 10 minutes because there was a private event scheduled. This could have been communicated to us upon arrival and we shouldn’t have been charged for a full days rental if that was the case. The next day we went to Hyde beach instead and placed a food order at 1pm and never received it by 4pm so ended up cancelling the order. The room was dirty upon check in. The glasses on our mini bar were used and again we asked for new glasses and never received them. The stay here really put a damper on our anniversary trip. I really expect better service when the room rate is $400 per night, plus resort fee. Definitely never staying here again when we come back to South Beach. Read less

This place is incredibly over priced for the abysmal service they offer their guests. 3/4 hotel employees was rude to us (particularly the pool staff). And this is not a mark on the individual employees. These folks are overworked and underpaid. The hotel is grossly understaffed and the guests suffer. Read less

I live in New York in the last 25 years so very picky when I choose a place to go to relax. This time I decided for SLS in South Beach and from the moment t I arrived I was treated like a princess. I first booked for a week but then after I saw the incredible and elegant room (plus the pool area and the restaurants quality) I went to speak to the Guest Relations Manager Ms. Hannah Vonderhaff to explore a possibility to extend my stay for another 10 days. I must say that I was impressed by Hannah professionalism, interpersonal skills and kindness to accommodate my request in a very busy week for the Hotel (Valentine's plus President's week). She spent time with me to find the best solution and I finally booked the extended stay. I think that Hannah could be easily the General Manager. I will definitely come back before the Summer. Was awful tasted like water downed watermelon juice w a hint of jalapeño w no alcohol. Service person was great, and so was the location on the beach. We come for my birthday and our stay was great and pleasant, all the staff is very courteous, Jay, Ernesto, Kevin and Ladonna, were amazing on their service ❤️ Love it ... Definately I will come back.
