The hotel

Following a recent refurbishment, this iconic Jumeirah Beach property is looking better than ever. Not only is the 'wave' design stunning to behold, it's rather clever too. That's because every room enjoys a sea view from its floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Guests also have an extensive choice of restaurants and bars to dine at ranging from the romantic beachside setting of Villa Beach, to a fun time with the family at Kitchen Connection. If you fancy a bit of pampering, you can unwind at the hotel's Talise Spa featuring a range of treatments including; massages and aromatherapy. The more active among you will enjoy the vertical challenge as you scale the 6-metre climbing wall, or how about a game of tennis or squash? If you are looking for a destination that offers more than just a place to exercise, then Talise Fitness is perfect for you. The complimentary Kids' club also provides a huge range of fun and fully supervised activities for children of all ages including face painting and mask making. There’s also complimentary access to the Wild Wadi Waterpark™, a thrilling destination with over 30 rides to tempt you including the aptly named Jumeirah Sceirah!

Where is it

The hotel's excellent Jumeirah Beach location means that plenty of water sports are on offer including kayaking and water-skiing. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 35 minutes.

618 rooms, suites and villas. All rooms have recently been renovated and are sea-facing with air-conditioning, interactive HD LCD TV, complimentary WiFi access, tea/coffee-making facilities, safe, mini-bar* and hairdryer. Ocean Deluxe Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and Burj Al Arab Jumeirah views (subject to availability), with 1 king-size bed or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Half Board option: includes buffet breakfast in Kitchen connection. Dinner is available on a dine-around basis with a choice of over 60 restaurants within the Jumeirah resorts: Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, Jumeirah Emirates Towers and Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Transport is not included. 

Ocean Deluxe Balcony Rooms are as above, but with the addition of a balcony, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Ocean Superior Deluxe Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with Burj Al Arab Jumeirah views and 1 king-size bed and 1 queen-size sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Ocean Club Rooms are newly refurbished, with 1 king-size bed and 1 queen-size sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

One-Bedroom Ocean Suites have separate bedroom with 1 king-size bed and living room with sea views, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Two-Bedroom Deluxe Suites have seperate living room and 2 bedrooms with 1 king-size bed and 2 twin beds. This suite can sleep 5 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Three-Bedroom Ocean Suite have separate living room, terrace and 3 bedrooms with either 2 king-size beds and 2 twin beds, or 3 king-size beds or 3 twin-size beds. This suite can sleep 7 adults, or 6 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

Family Garden Suites are located on the ground floor with direct access to the outdoor pool, with 1 king-size bed and 2 twin beds and sofa bed, sleeping 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children (under 12 years).

The hotel is beautifully renovated and the rooms are great. It probably has one of the best locations in Dubai since rooms have a perfect view on Burj Al Arab. The beach is wide and the water clean, turquoise, and wavy. The food is good as well. Everything would be perfect if it wasn't for the bad service. The concierge was almost never there. We asked them for tickets to the Laguna water park which they printed for us. However, they failed to mention that the water park was closed for maintenance which costs us a long pointless drive there and back. The receptionists are rather unfriendly and assist you as if you were interrupting their day and they are doing you a favor. The worst however was the restaurant service. The hotel has moved towards an a la carte dinner and breakfast rather than a buffet due to COVID. You have to wait a long time for your food. The breakfast choices are also very limited since they offer mostly different varieties of egg dishes. The waiters mixed up our orders every day. They either brought the wrong dish, forgot to order our food in the kitchen, or brought dessert before the main course. Therefore, we wasted a lot of time just waiting for food. Breakfast took around 1.5 hours every day and dinner took us at least 2 hours with only 3 courses and even though we ordered everything right away as we knew the menu already. I will definitely want to visit this amazing hotel again, but I will surely wait until they bring the buffet back. Read less

We had another amazing time at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, which was our 3rd time. The service was great as always, all facilities and the room fulfilled all our expectations. We will definitely come again and will always recommend!

It was the only Jumeirah we did not had yet the chance to try on Jumeirah Beach and nothing to say, it was perfect. Staff is just so attentive that it make your stay and feel so good. All beach hotels are to be recommended for leisure as for business trips. BRAVO
