The Redbury South Beach

South Beach, Miami

The hotel

A luxury Miami hotel, not only does the Redbury pride itself on its cool Art-Deco interior and exterior, it’s renowned for great service too. You’ll feel like one of the beautiful people here, your surroundings superb and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. For spectacular views head on up to the rooftop pool, a great place to while away a few lazy hours with waitress service on hand. Guests also enjoy priority access to the fitness centre, spa and beauty salon at neighbouring hotels, the spa we particularly recommend for a deserved spot of pampering! Unique touches such as record players and albums in rooms really set this hotel apart — Bob Marley and Jack Johnson anyone? And, although you’re footsteps from all the nightlife as well as an abundance of restaurants, one of the best in the area is on-site. Cleo — hailed as one of the hottest in the US — is presided over by award-winning chef, Danny Elmaleh. Sharing plates, mezzes, flatbreads and handcrafted cocktails are all on the menu in an atmosphere that’s as relaxing as it is exciting. Don’t miss out!

We were disappointed and felt misled by reviews and photos. Service: the hotel seems to be running on a skeleton crew. There is no regular cleaning service. You must request anything you need. Towels, trash, ice, etc. That's right - if not requested, trash would simply build up in your room. Additionally, while most of the staff members were… Read more

Towels, trash, ice, etc. That's right - if not requested, trash would simply build up in your room. Additionally, while most of the staff members were friendly, there was one in particular who was incredibly rude on more than one occasion (even hanging up on us!). I wouldn't mention this if it didn't feel as if it was intentional rudeness. Pool: don't be mislead by the photos. There is no bar staff on the pool deck. Even worse, the pool area is not maintained. Towels are left on chairs and the ground all day/night. As excited as we were about this amenity, we did not use it. Restaurant: not open. Location: good. Access to the SLS beach chairs is good/easy. Conclusion: our experience led me to believe the hotel is on the verge of closing. In fact, I hope that's the case! Otherwise, it is just a horribly managed hotel. It felt like staying in a hostel (without the roommates). Read less

The record player in the room was unique and fun. It is near the beach and beach chairs and towels are provided. We were always asking the front desk for something, even after someone was in to replace towels. We bought our own K cups, should have bought coffee cups too since we had to ask for them every day, as well as washcloths. Some days… Read more

GREAT Location in south beach. Amazing service from all of the staff. We have stayed here a few times and the staff always welcomes us back. The rooftop is really nice but unfortunately the bar is not open. It seems like they’re trying to reopen the restaurant out front. If the bar and restaurant were open this place would be a 10/10. Stayed here last week for 5 nights. The location is perfect. It’s a short walk to the beach and to lots of fabulous restaurants and bars. The rooms had lots of space and were very clean and comfortable. This place has lots of potential. I was a little disappointed that their restaurant wasn’t open yet and that the poolside bar they show in their gallery online was not in use. Also the rooftop pool was pretty but it lacked any sort of music or party atmosphere. The hotel looked eclectic but it just didn’t feel like you were in Miami. Also one of the nights there was some sort of pump that ran every 20 minutes that lasted all night and would wake us up every time it would go off. All in all I would probably look for another place to stay, again pretty disappointed that the restaurant and bar pictured online was not there yet and it’s too bad it lacked the luster of being in Miami. But if you’re looking for a good sized room that’s clean and in a prime location, this would be a good fit for you. Read less
