The hotel

If you’re heading for Florida’s fabulous Panhandle, it’s probably for the beaches — so a spot right on the sands of Panama City Beach is pretty hard to rival. There are only four elevators in the building. Once you are on the elevator, it is fast moving. But it can literally take 15-30 minutes at times, especially during check-in/out, to catch one. Several times they will stop and be full, so you may have to split up or make several trips. I would suggest loading up with carts the night before you leave if possible. The higher up you are, the longer the elevators will take. We were on the 11th floor and I wouldn’t want to be any higher. The beach and pools are easily accessible with a passcode, and no keys or cards are required anywhere on site. The location is perfect and close to everything. All in all I would stay here again. Obviously, traveling to the beach in July has its drawbacks...the place was packed. I would highly suggest a later arrival and packing to leave THE NIGHT BEFORE you check out. Elevators can be hectic. Definitely would book here again. Read less

It was more comfortable sitting outside on the balcony furniture than the couch. The bunk beds would be ideal for someone 10 or younger. My daughter is 15 and was uncomfortable the entire stay. The kitchen was a huge plus..it had every amenity you could want to cook with. The shower in the bedroom was sufficient. We had to call maintenance to repair the shower off of the bunk beds. The security light outside our door was never fixed,, even after 3 phone calls. I did like the security aspect. You have codes to be able to enter the outside doors/gates and there is a code to enter the room. Now that being said, my husband hated it because he has a horrible memory and kept forgetting. The parking is across the street but there is a skywalk connecting so you are not required to walk across the street. The resort is located near Pier Park, Walmart, Target and other shopping areas. Not having daily housekeeping was different but we managed. I did not see in the small print about needing toilet paper and garbage bags, that was my fault. On the second floor are the dvd rental kiosk which were nice to use on our lazy nights. Overall not a bad place to stay. I do believe they need a better more efficient way of accessing luggage carts. That was chaos. Read less
