Bally's Hotel and Casino

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

With unwavering service, comprehensive dining and amenities that are second to none, it’s no doubt Bally’s has been welcoming excited guests for over 30 years now! There’s the casino of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside instead — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Or perhaps a game of tennis might tempt you? The complex here is one of the largest on the Strip with eight floodlit courts to choose from. Golfers will appreciate a free tee session at one of two nearby golf courses or shop ‘til you drop at Bally’s Avenue. It’s not just about the gambling in Las Vegas, there’s the shows as well and Bally’s plays host to some of the best.

I never complain or write poor reviews but Ballys is failing. No sports book anymore. No spa. Pool only half open. How do you not have a sports book? I've stayed here for years but will have to check out other hotels

As we had reservations for a restaurant at the Bellagio, we changed our reservation to Bally's just a couple of days before the trip so that we would be close by. The location relative to other hotels could not be better with a direct connection to the Paris Hotel and a bridge to Bellagio. The room had clearly been recently remodeled. Over the years, I have stayed in quite a few hotels but this is the largest standard room of my past trips. The stall shower was one of the nicer that I have seen in a Las Vegas hotel. Also, the housekeeping staff did a great job of cleaning the room for the one day that we requested it, and brought extra towels and toiletries on request. The check-in process was fairly straight forward. The staff assisted us with the self check-in. The casino itself seemed a little dated and seemed to have more stagnant smoke than some of the other casinos. However, it is my understanding that the casino will be under remodeling soon which will make this even a more desirable destination. Read less

Wanted a hotel in the middle of the Strip that was good and affordable - chose Ballys. Check in at the kiosk and it gave us a tower room in the back on the 17th floor. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. View was south looking at the airport. We were between Paris and The Flamingo across from the Bellagio. Close to everything. Even… Read more

Even won $163 in the casino on a $1.50 bet. Trip was good and the hotel was great for the price. You forget how spaced out the other hotels are and with the crowds it takes forever to walk. That’s why I wanted to be in the middle. Read less

The worse experience ever! I went to Las Vegas to celebrate my birthday 7/27-8/5/22. This was my first trip back to Vegas since the pandemic and was super happy and excited. I ended up contracting bronchitis and Covid-19 while staying at Ballys Las Vegas. I was experiencing difficulty breathing and had security call EMS for me. While I Explained my situation to security informing them my friends had left the day prior and I was all alone in las vegas sick with bronchitis and covid and felt like I was dying the response I received from security staff was sorry but you will have to leave the property if you have covid. Security did not ask me if I needed anything or if I was ok. All Security did was offer to put me in a crackhead infested looking hotel (ARIZONA CHARLIE'S BOULDER) I know he himself would not have stepped a foot in. Honestly if I were to go to that hotel I would have probably picked up some other viruses/diseases. This was very humiliating and I felt very disrespected. I am a Professional (registered nurse) who during the pandemic have assisted many family’s with dealing with the fears and losses of loved ones, and provided them with comfort and compassion when they most needed it. Unfortunately when I myself needed that support there was no one I could turn to. I googled the property they wanted to send me too and trust me it would not have been conducive to my recovery from bronchitis/covid 19. Imagine being thousands of miles away from home all alone with covid 19 experiencing SOB, to then be evicted from the hotel. After being evicted while feeling like I was on my death bed, I tried to reach a supervisor and was told by Christine the supervisor was in training and would return my call by 10:00 Pm on 8/4/22 when I did not receive a cal back by mid day on 8/5/22 I decided to call again. When I Called back I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes and no one came back to the line. I had to call back 3 more times before I was able to get in touch with supervisor who did not resolve my issues or concerns. I feel very offended by the way I was treated. I have been a Ballys/ Caesars patron for over 15 years Been a Diamond member for many years prior to the pandemic. When I felt like I was at rock bottom suffering from COVID and BRONCHITIS thinking things could not get any worse, security staff evicted me from the property. I feel like the customer service is nothing like it used to be. It’s sad that I had this experience and will definitely not be patronizing BALLYS LAS VEGAS ever again. They will not receive one more penny from me as long as I am alive! Read less
