The hotel

Art deco style and relaxed beach vibes is what the Gale South Beach is all about. On one side you've got Collins Avenue, a bustling hubbub of city lights, sights and sounds. On the other is the beach, with the relaxed promenade and white sands leading to the Atlantic Ocean. And at the Gale, you've got an infinity-edge pool to plunge into, a delicious Italian restaurant to eat at, and rooms decorated with the beach and ocean as their inspiration. Where is it

On Collins Avenue, a short stroll from the beach and promenade. A 4-minute walk to Lincoln Road, and 10 minutes to the top of Ocean Drive. Transfer time from Miami International Airport: 25 minutes.

All rooms have complimentary WiFi access, 55-inch HDTV, premium bath amenities, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board, and bathrobes.

Signature Rooms are 250-325 sq ft with city views, and either 1 double bed, 1 queen-size bed, or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Dolce Italian (indoor and outdoor dining and drinks; open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch). Medium Cool (cocktail lounge). 

Infinity-edge swimming pool. Gym. Bicycle rental. Access to the beach club at the Shelborne Hotel (including 2 beach chairs and towels). Water sports rentals* including paddle boards, wave runners and parasailing.

Stayed here on 12/13 April. Hotel is very well situated, on Collins & near Lincoln road. Found the staff very nice & helpful. As a previous review said ask for a high floor. I was on 2nd floor & could still hear the noise from the club !! Room not huge (especially for 2 people) & to be honest looks as though it could do with an upgrade . Shower… Read more
Stayed here on 12/13 April. Hotel is very well situated, on Collins & near Lincoln road. Found the staff very nice & helpful. As a previous review said ask for a high floor. Shower tray looked as though it needed a good clean, carpet in room not very nice & awful window blinds. Eventually found the rest to put suitcase on (it was under the bed?). Food here quite nice - I only had breakfast. There are plenty places to choose from for your meals though all along Collins. Beach is just across the road - few minutes walk & apparently you can use the facilities of the hotel across the road Like the rest of South beach it’s not cheap but pleasant enough for a couple of days . This place is beautiful and the staff so friendly. Roxanna and Tomas were very helpful with scheduling our car valet. Would definitely stay again. Miami is a magical place and this hotel is perfectly located. We came for my birthday and had an amazing time

Great location! The staff was wonderful. I was here for four days and was so grateful for the convenient restaurant, great amenities, and fabulous support, particularly from front desk Cornelius and Romona and a sweet bellman named Berthony. I would stay here again with no question!

Read through this to understand why I gave only 3 stars. STAFF was fabulous! Housekeeping, so nice and quick to help. The restaurant there and staff were phenomenal. There is a door for the toilet only . When my husband gets up at 5:30am to run he woke all of us up . If you are a couple traveling and don't mind then great . Ok interior design, but simply impossible to justify charging US$457 a night for a room with no windows and no functioning phone line. Engineer made an effort to fix the phone, but eventually gave up with a “sorry” and a shrug. Feels like we’re in 2 star territory here. Seriously consider finding other options in South Beach area.
