Everythng went fine. But the service in room of the frigobar (locked for 6 days without reason) and then, they charged me things i didn't consume 5 days after i leave the hotel. Personal Security of the data? Fine, Thanks.

We come to Los Angeles regularly. First experience in this hotel. 2 bedrooms, 5 people, 8 nights. clean hotel, good location. BUT we had to deal with the reception 4 times, each time very very unpleasant, and no explanation for the breakfast credits of $20 per room, we lost $320, the hotel did not wish to make a gesture. We won't be back.

Stayed here as a party of 3- 2 adults and 1 child. Yeah. Good hotel. Its a short walk from the clutter, squalor and bustle of Hollywood Boulevard, has (expensive) parking and a nice airy lobby. Rooms are good. They'd overbooked so we got upgraded to a suite which was big, stylish, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was odd in that most of it was empty but it was a very good room overall. The bar was OK, food a bit on the pricey side, service nice and treacly. There's a pool on the roof too. Overall, if you want to stay in Hollywood (the sign is in view just down the road) its a good option. Read less

Hotel is in a great location and we had views of the famous Hollywood sign from our room. Short walk around the corner to the Hollywood walk of fame strip. Only issue we had was being treated differently than some other guests - even over a simple request for water to take back to our room. We saw an American couple do this for free and when we… Read more

Looking at all the recent reviews, I’m confused as we definitely didn’t receive a 5* experience at Loews Hollywood. We drove to the hotel and parked in the underground car park and when checking in, asked if we’d had to pay daily and the lady behind the front desk said we had valet parking included so we needed to bring the car back up to the front of the hotel and we wouldn’t need to pay for the 30 mins. When exiting the car park, the guy wouldn’t let us out without paying a $6 fee which wasn’t the best of starts. We quickly noticed a loud, repetitive noise in our room that sounded like someone wheeling a heavy item along the floor every 3 minutes or so and realised on the hotel blueprint on the back of the door that our room was next to 3 x service elevators. These are situated in the middle of the hotel and this noise would be heard in all the rooms surrounding the lifts, on every floor. We asked to move to a quieter room so we could get some sleep during our stay and the lady explained that the only room available had 2 x double beds, rather than the king bed we had paid for (which was no problem for us) but when we moved our stuff to the new room, it had 2 x single beds. The rooms are very dated and rough around the edges but okay for a couple of nights. No glasses for a drink of water in the room, and the hairdryer was so old the handle got extremely hot whilst in use and burnt my hand. One afternoon we decided to sit by pool but within half an hour we were asked to leave as they were setting up for an event. This was really disappointing as we’d purposefully picked a hotel with a pool. The whole hotel was overrun with business events and conferences during our stay making the bar, cafe, pool and all other communal areas very busy. Finally, since checking out we have been charged double the destination fees that we were expecting - they’ve probably increased their prices since we booked. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend or stay here again. Very disappointing as the hotel was expensive. Read less
