Loved the hotel. Only 7 unique villas super comfortable and also another cabana just in front of the sea with an incredible view. The staff was great and the location couldn’t be best. The spa was also amazing.

I had called twice to request a room that was non-smoking and pet free due to allergies. When I arrived at the Strat, I again asked for a non-smoking and pet-free room. When I got off the elevator while heading to my room, the hallway smelled of smoke. I entered the room and was overpowered by the nicotine in the air. There was an ashtray in the room. The front desk said I was put in a smoking optional room and there were no comparable non-smoking rooms available. They would send housekeeping in to clean it, which is impossible since cigarette smoke permeates bedding, drapes, walls, etc. However, I thought I give it a try and go up to the room again. When I arrived, the smell was stronger than in the casino. I could not sleep in a room that would cause an asthma attack. On my third trip to the front desk, I said that I could pay a little more if it was a non-smoking room. I ended up paying over twice the price of what I was expecting. The Priceline total cost said $77.18 (Priceline charged $37.23 and Resort Fee would be $39.95). However, I ended up paying $201.85. This was after a discount. It really felt like a bait and switch since there is only one smoking floor and I ended up on it. (Apparently the Strat closed floors 19 and below due to what I believe are renovations.) Then, I was given a suite with 2 televisions and 2-bathroom sinks for a single traveler. This non-smoking room had pockets throughout that smelled like cigarette smoke as well. I am guessing that it might have been a smoking room at one time or the smoke was coming through the ventilation system. I would not recommend the Strat. Although I will say that the pool staff was nice, even though they had to close the pool multiple times due to potential lightning. At least they tried to keep it open. Read less

Great stay. Staff was helpful and outgoing. Valet and front desk went out of their way .. Rooms were mice. Recently remodeled. Bathroom lighting could be better. Lobby redone. Historic building one block from the Stand

I liked it. A hotel that won’t break the bank.. Room was clean. Shower was basic but that’s what I paid for. Booked through chase portal. The pricier rooms just have better showers/bathrooms, a fridge, but ours was ok. It really didn’t matter to me if it was marble bathroom counter tops or whatever and our plan was to eat at the buffetts. Only… Read more

Only complaint is wifi sucked. This hotel has a lot to offer. Free parking. Does have a resort fee. It’s far but close to everything off that makes sense. It does have its own unique smell when you walk in from the parking bridge. But not as bad as the westgate entrance. I’ll gladly return. Maybe not during the flash floods haha. Read less

They have slapped some fresh paint on the lobby, but the rest of this hotel is in dire need of improvement. They have slapped some fresh paint on the lobby, but the rest of this hotel is in dire need of improvement. The check in process was terrible - large queue with minimal staff who clearly would rather be anywhere other than doing their job. Guests yelling and cursing in the line about the length of their drive to get here. Rooms are super old and literally falling apart. However they were clean and comfortable. The location is very inconvenient and not somewhere you’d feel particularly safe walking around at night alone. There are no reasons to stay here unless you need a cheap place to stay for a night. Don’t ruin your trip to Vegas at this dump. Read less
