If posting negative stars was possible. The worst 3 days of my life. First of all let's say customer service makes a big difference. Check in the line was crazy out the door. Express check in was broken. I requested a smoking King room and ended up with 2 Queens instead. Then I called multiple times with no answer from housekeeping for more linen. Evening comes and couple next door was screaming and Loud all night fighting. Security finally made it the next morning yet I don't think they even kicked them out. We wake the next morning and request a supervisor and was denied one. We then requested a new room. We did not want to experience the same thing we did the night before without any rest. Mind you this was my birthday weekend away. We get the keys to the new room and was advised we would only be charged a deposit and the stay would be comped. We head to our old room to gather our things while and attempt to identify the door and the key doesn't work. Wow, we didn't even have a chance to get our things and guess what. Another couple was given a room key to our room. They gave away our room to someone else without us being about to gather our things and then without the room being cleaned also. LIABILITY AND LAWSUIT! We all head downstairs and explain what just happened and told them this was unacceptable and requested another manager and finally security came and escorted us to get our things and head to new room. Smh, next morning I go to checkout and boom room charge. Mind you we were comped for 2 nights and was scheduled to pay 1 night but was told due to the inconvenience we would not be charged. I spend an hour or so in line again to checkout and explain and told her they could have a lawsuit the way they handled business and the lady says well since you mentioned lawsuit you can't stay here again. I'm sorry ma'am I will sleep in my car before even driving down your street. No thanks. So my suggestion Do Not Stay here Read less

This review is on the SkyPod Happy Hour only! This was our third time going to the Happy Hour at The Strat and will definitely be our last! Prior to this year you could take the elevator up for free to go up to the 107th floor for the Happy Hour which included buy 1 get 1 drinks and appetizers. This year their motto is "We have raised the Bar". Well, they may have raised the bar from the 107th floor up to the 108th floor, but they definitely dropped the quality! They now charge $28 per person or 2/1 $14. The atmosphere on the 107th floor was so much nicer/intimate and cleaner, you had a waitress come to your table to serve you your drinks and food all 2 for 1 including the appetizers. When we got off the elevator on the 108th floor we found a round high top table with 2 uncomfortable chairs and a dirty table that nobody came over to clean! There were no waitresses and you had to go to the bar to get your own drinks, which were $18.00 each for specialty drinks! (still 2 for 1). Also the food they served was not 2 for 1, which you had to go get yourself. We honestly feel that it was a RIP OFF! We were so disappointed because we have family and friends coming to Vegas next month. Unfortunately we will not be taking them to The Strat Happy Hour! Read less

At first we booked a non-updated room. Fair enough, the staff warned us these rooms have not been updated since the early 90's. However, we thought we would try anyways. At first we booked a non-updated room. Fair enough, the staff warned us these rooms have not been updated since the early 90's. However, we thought we would try anyways. When we got to the room, the toilet seat had gross stains and indents on it, the sink immediately clogged, and the walls were paper thin. This looked like a cheap motel room on the side of the road but it sure wasn't cheap. Anyways, that was our fault for making that decision. We then went down to ask to change rooms but they said they are not changing peoples rooms. Since we could not change rooms, we asked to pay to upgrade to the updated rooms. We paid $100 to upgrade to the updated rooms. The new rooms did not have paper thin walls which was nice and were decorated/updated nicely. However, the pictures below are from the updated room behind the window curtain, where the wallpaper was peeling, and in the bathroom where mold was. This should not be like this for the price of this room. Also, the location of the Strat is far from the strip with boarded up apartments across the street. After I came home, I told a friend about my experience and he told me "I knew the Strat was ghetto but I did not want to tell you before since you already booked it." The pool areas were nice but that was the only highlight. Luckily, I was here for the life is beautiful festival so I did not have to spend much time at the Strat. I do not recommend this hotel and I rarely write bad reviews. Had the reception staff been helpful, I probably would not have gone out of my way to write this review but they were neither helpful nor friendly. The lines to check in at night were also insane (around 9pm). I stayed there in September 2021 and still remember my experience in January 2022, when I am writing this review. Read less

I will never stay here again. The stupid Stephanie does not know what she is doing. I wanted to put the resort fee on my card, the same one from the night before. Stupid Stephanie does not know that Randolph and Randy are the same names. She demanded a credit card with Randolph on it. Good thing I did have another one but if that was the only card I had she would not have extended my stay. This is the last time I stay here and I suggest you avoid this property. Read less
