Westin Boston Waterfront

Boston, USA

The hotel

In the thriving Seaport District, this feature-packed hotel’s just steps from one of neighbourhood’s biggest draws, The Lawn on D. The outside comes in at The Westin Boston Waterfront too, with its lobby greeting you with natural stone and wood, a vertical garden, and leafy trees. Delve deeper and you’ll find 4 bars and restaurants, each sharing its own take on all-American dining: there’s the contemporary slant at Sauciety, the Irish-American pub twist at MJ O’Connor’s, American grill favourites at Birch Bar, and local light bites at City Bar. When you’ve had your fill of the food, the Westin’s Laugh Boston comedy club presents local and national acts. And, if Boston’s sightseeing highlights don’t eat up every second of your trip, there’s always the indoor pool and whirlpool, fitness studio, and group runs guided by a ‘RunWESTIN Concierge’.

My family and I were in transition to a new home and needed a room, not just any room, but a comfortable space that would nicely accomodate our family while we were in between homes, we stayed here in the Commodore Suite and it was absolutely fabulous, it had 2 full bedrooms with ensuites, a diningroom, kitchenette, a living room area and another full bedroom, it was very spacious and had a really cool modern decor, we ate in Sauciety each day that we were there and the food was also very good, on 2 separate occasions we asked for someithing that was not on the menu and the were able to deliver each time, we also had appetizers at the bar and both times the bartenders approached us quickly, the very first time that we valet'd our car we were greated with a full introduction and it stayed that way until we checked out, for me, these are all the things that make a good stay complete (my husband is a hospitality professional so I know how it should be done), I'll certainly look forward to another visit in thenear future, this should NOT be an after thought but upon check out we were given a full description of the Hotel's amenities, a great way to welcome a guest, thank you! The location is great as its close and easy to and from airport, as well as Seaport quickly becoming the hot spot to be in Boston. Great restaurants near by, etc. As others have said, Comedy club is attached along with a little pub/restaurant - has 2 bars, tables etc. We only drank there so cant vouch for food, but seems decent from what we could tell. Lobby bar is nice and open. Rooms were roomy and clean. Nice stay in a great part of town. Read less

Enjoyed an overnight stay here. Everything was spot-on. Comfortable bed; clean, quiet room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, particularly in the restaurant where we enjoyed a great breakfast. If I had to pick one negative, it would be that there's no ventilation in the bathroom in the room. Will make this a destination next time I'm in… Read more

Our simple request has been denied every single time. We are also Bonvoy Gold Elite members and that does not seem to matter either. I simply do not understand why this hotel advertises late checkout as a benefit when it simply does not exist. Also finding food is always a challenge here. Read less

This hotel Is next to convention center attached to Mj OConnor’s and a comedy club. The first room we were given was dirty, sock on floor hairs in bathroom. Hotel moved us at once however, disappointing from a Westin ! There is a Starbucks and bar in lobby and a huge screen playing sports, just not my kind of hotel.
