Welcome aboard Virgin Voyages, the new sailing experience that's bringing about an 'Epic Sea Change for All'. This experience is a lot of things, but definitely not your traditional cruise. Instead, expect a voyage that cultivates curiosity, encourages experience and advocates adventure. With Virgin Voyages, you're never just a passenger – you're a sailor.
Virgin Voyages offers a cheeky and cheerful approach to service, as well as an inclusive approach to sea travel that removes those pesky add-ons. Sailors will enjoy food at the 20+ restaurants onboard (at no added cost). Free fitness classes and free wifi (so you can share your favourite holidays snaps whilst living for the moment!). Aimed at providing a transformative experience through a liberal dose of ‘Vitamin Sea’, the Virgin Voyages ideology places the ocean and its role in both personal and global wellbeing at centre stage.
Visit gems like Monte Carlo, Ajaccio, Toulon and Marseille in France or Palma de Mallorca and Málaga in Spain, all from our homeport in Barcelona. On itineraries typically sailed by superyachts, Sailors will explore Tuscany or visit Olbia and Cagliari in Italy’s Sardinian island. Whatever your cruise destination of choice, all itineraries stay longer in port for extended exploration time and spend a magical night in Ibiza. Think twilight hours that seem to stretch for days.
Virgin Voyages offers four and five-night itineraries, all setting sail from Miami and taking Sailors to the beautiful island of Bimini, Bahamas where you can bask in the sun at the much anticipated announcement of The Beach Club – one of many ports to conquer.

Start a bar tab before sailing and enjoy a bonus round (or two) on Virgin Voyages! Sailors can now pre-purchase Sailor Loot specifically to be used at the bars onboard and at The Beach Club. For every $300 pre-purchased, Sailors receive a bonus $50. And in celebration of introducing Bar Tab, Sailors will receive $100 bonus for every $300 purchased for a limited time.

Not wanting to get shipped off with a boat-load of children? While we cater for the young at heart, Virgin Voyages offer strictly adult-only cruises. Sure, the little ones would probably love life at sea, but we want you to discover your inner child – not have to look after one.
If you thought cruise food was buffets and queues – think again. From Korean BBQ, pizza shops, Mediterranean mezze and Mexican restaurants through to a legendary drag queen brunch, Virgin Voyages’ 24-hour food and beverage service is always made to order with a wide selection of restaurants and dining onboard the Scarlet Lady.
No more single-use plastics is just the start of Virgin Voyages’ commitment to sustainable sailing. Newly-built, state-of-the-art and eco-friendly cruise ships use cutting-edge technology so you can concentrate on leaving your footprints in the sand and not on the planet.
Still not impressed? Virgin Voyages use Azipod propulsion technology to reduce fuel consumption by 15 per cent and has partnered with Swedish cleantech experts, Climeon, to convert heat from ship engines back into electricity, helping reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
To complement artist Toby Tinsley’s revolutionary ship design, Virgin Voyages' partnered with world-renowned interior designer Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio; New York’s Roman and Williams (The Ace Hotel and the Standard Highline); Concrete Amsterdam (Citizen M and Hotel Zoku), and Softroom in London to reimagine the modern luxury cruise experience.
From the VIP rooftop, club lounge and sky rooms, which use dichroic rainbow-effect glass, through to the world’s first onboard tattoo parlour – The Scarlet Lady boasts theatrical spaces with a sense of drama and fun throughout.
The ‘Vitamin Sea’ ethos not only focuses on the wellbeing of the ocean but also that of its sailors. With a selection of onboard programmes, including sunrise and sunset yoga sessions, you’ll find more than enough things to help you detox (and retox).
If the idea of letting those abs go without a plank for a few days is enough to make you walk one, take a step inside Athletic Club. Resembling a 1920s New York sports club, sailors can hit the outdoor training zone, boxing ring and gym, or head outside to set PBs on The Runway running track.
Not quite your idea of relaxation? No problem. Redemption, the ship’s spa, will transport you to an underwater cave complete hydrotherapy pool, mud room, salt room, cold plunge pools, quartz beds and rejuvenating treatments.
From the glamourous Wake restaurant, with its high-end surf ‘n’ turf, through to Razzle Dazzle the vegan/vegetarian restaurant and juice bar; with over 20 restaurant and dining options on board, The Scarlet Lady literally caters for all tastes.
If you’re wanting to brush up on your culinary classics, The Test Kitchen is one not to miss. Foodies will love the cooking classes, mixology school and coffee labs – not to mention midnight feasts and late-night lock ins!
Looking for a more private relaxation spot rather than all hands on deck? The top level of the Scarlet Lady is reserved exclusively for cabin suite guests.
For a more chilled beach-club vibe, check out The Dock, serving Mediterranean small plates, salads, dips and mezzes or head to The Galley, modelled on food halls and featuring shops and food carts.
As the sun sets, you’ll probably be looking for something livelier to keep you entertained into the small hours. Signature nightclub The Manor takes inspiration from one of our original Virgin Music recording studios – make sure to pack your dancing shoes.
Finally, what better way to commemorate your time on board than by heading to Squid Ink, where tattoo artist Lou Rubino Jr has hand-picked two resident tattooists to make sure those memories never fade.

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.
To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
You can contact our team by emailing feedback.backhome@virginholidays.com to discuss options on unused portions of your holiday. If you need to contact our team about amending an existing holiday or requesting a refund please log in to manage my booking.
