Scarlet Lady entertainment - mind-blowing revelry

Grab your glad rags, throw on your dancing shoes and be prepared to be amazed by some of the best cruise ship entertainment on the high seas. Start things off with a visit to the exclusive Beach Club at Bimini in the Bahamas, then just keep levelling up with an on-board party at the Manor, the Scarlet Lady’s exclusive nightclub. Bag some front-row seats in the Red Room and be prepared to laugh your socks off or just stare slack-jawed in amazement at 21st-century magic and mayhem. The festival vibe keeps the curious entertained, and the cravers coming back for more. After a glorious meal and the best cocktails, it’s time to dance until dawn as the Scarlet Lady steams her way to your next port of call.

The Beach Club, Bimini

Forget Ibiza or Saint-Tropez. SO last year. The hottest party spot has now upped sticks and relocated to the balmy climes of Bimini. This Bahamian treat offers up tranquillity by day and high energy entertainment by night.

Powder-soft, white sandy beaches are lapped by crystal clear waters for the ultimate beach club experience. Your holiday, your rules. Sit back and enjoy the sunshine, laze in the infinity pool, and detox, before dialling the entertainment up to 11 as the sun goes down.

Mornings at the Beach Club start with meditation and contemplation, with a beach yoga session that’ll re-align those Chakras and balance your mind, body and spirit. Do what you want, when you want to during the day, and then get ready for the energy levels to start climbing once the sun goes down. Enjoy DJ-led pool parties before winding down with a beach bonfire under the stars. Someone always manages to find a guitar to put the finishing touch on that perfect end to a perfect night, and as the sun slowly starts to come up you’ll be convinced you’ve found your very own slice of Caribbean heaven.

Rockstar cruise entertainment

If you’re staying in one of the Scarlet Lady’s RockStar Suites, things have just got even more rock-n-roll when it comes to your cruise entertainment. You’ve got your very own exclusive slice of paradise with a dedicated bar, complimentary food service, an outdoor terrace lounge complete with sun loungers, and beach cabanas for a spot of solitude. Try the mango salad or Bahamian rum cake, before strolling through the forest or heading to the beach for that ultimate Caribbean sunset.

The island’s just seven miles long, so if you’re so inclined you could probably jog around it in a couple of hours. However, that’s far too energetic for a relaxing holiday, right? Dig your toes in the soft sand, top up your rum cocktail from any one of the six bar areas, and sink slowly (and carefully) into a hammock suspended between two coconut trees. Seriously. Does it get any better than this?

If you do fancy getting active then you can snorkel, scuba dive, or try any one of the water sports on offer. No matter what you want to do, you’ve got plenty of opportunities to make this stop-over in beautiful Bimini one to remember.

The Red Room - quality on-board entertainment

Cruise ship entertainment just went up a level with the first transformational, multi-form theatre at sea. A what now? Well, think of the four best venues you’ve ever been to and then roll them up into one on board entertainment space that can be transformed from one day to the next. Small and intimate individual spaces one night, a huge club with an insane light show the next, the Red Room changes like a chameleon to suit the evening’s entertainment.

Don’t just expect the usual suspects when it comes to cruise ship entertainment, either. Virgin Voyages have pushed the boat out and moved away from the ‘entertainer vs audience’ set up. We are continually reviewing our flying schedules, taking into account the  Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advice against all non-essential travel. Depending on when you are due to travel, your holiday may be affected and we’ll email you to let you know as least 21 days before travel.

For extra piece of mind, new bookings made before 30 September 2020 for travel up 30 April 2021 also have the flexibility to amend free of charge. If you need to change don’t worry, you can move your holiday as far out as 31 December 2021 subject to availability.

Payment flexibility


Don’t worry if you’ve missed a payment or just need a little more time to pay; we have options available to help you. If your holiday is going ahead as planned, you can continue to pay for your holiday in Manage my booking, even if travelling in less than 12 weeks. If you’re unsure, you can delay any additional payments by choosing a new time to travel by requesting a call back in Manage My booking for one of our team to look at options. If your holiday is more than 6 months away, you may wish to set up a Direct Debit to spread the cost. This can be arranged whilst rebooking or afterwards in Manage my booking.

We understand that you may wish to change your holiday plans and we appreciate the need for flexibility.

You're holiday is going ahead as planned


If we haven’t notified you of any changes, your holiday will be going ahead as planned but if you prefer to move your holiday to a later time we can help. You can call our team on 0344 472 9499 who can look at options for you.

Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.

To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
